One such player is Josh Green, the SG/SF for the Dallas Mavericks. With Irving and Doncic out with injuries, Green has managed to shine on the court and take over the offense in their absence.
What makes Green an even more attractive option for Wednesday’s slate of games is the fact that he’s facing off against the San Antonio Spurs, a team that he’s poised to dominate. With several key absences still lingering on the Mavericks roster, Green should see a massive boost in minutes, shot attempts, and usage, making him a steal at his current price point of $5,700 on DraftKings and $6,000 on FanDuel.
Jabari Smith
While he struggled early on in the season, the rookie has turned a corner in recent games, putting up impressive numbers with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in his last three outings. In fact, he’s averaged a whopping 51 DraftKings points per game in that span, making him an excellent option for his affordable price point of $6,800 on DraftKings and $7,400 on FanDuel.
What’s more, Smith’s prospects only look better for Wednesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. With Anthony Davis already sitting out for rest and LeBron James still out with a foot injury, the Lakers defense is bound to be weakened. Plus, the Lakers have struggled against power forwards, ranking No. 19 in offensive efficiency rating surrendered to the position. In fact, they’ve allowed the second-most DraftKings (50.5) and fourth-most FanDuel (48.5) points per contest to the position in their last 15 games.
