NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Wednesday 5/10/23

NBA DFS Top Value Plays

Welcome to our NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Wednesday 5/10/23 article, where we’ll be providing you with some of the best value options to consider for your daily fantasy basketball lineups. As the playoffs heat up, it’s crucial to find players who can perform well without breaking the bank. Our team of experts has scoured the stats and analyzed the matchups to bring you the most reliable and cost-effective picks for Wednesday’s games.

Quentin Grimes

When building a successful DFS lineup, it’s important to consider value plays alongside high-priced studs. One such player to keep an eye on is Quentin Grimes of the New York Knicks. While he may be a gamble, Grimes’ performance in Game 4 cannot be ignored. Despite scoring only 23 DK points, he played 42 minutes as a starter, a role that could be crucial for such an affordable player.

Grimes has been a consistent player for the Knicks, averaging 27 DK points per game in the 26 regular season games where he played at least 36 minutes. If he continues to see significant court time, he could potentially provide valuable support to any DFS lineup.

While recommending Grimes may be considered risky, there are few bench players available at such a low price point who have the potential to play 35-40 minutes. In the 27 games where Grimes played at least 36 minutes, he averaged nearly 30 fantasy points per game. If he can replicate that production, his $4K price tag could make him a valuable addition to any lineup.

Keep an eye on Grimes as a potential value play for Wednesday’s slate. With his affordable price tag and potential for significant playing time, he could be the key to unlocking a winning DFS lineup.

Kevon Looney

Kevon Looney is a risky play in DFS due to his recent diminished role as a bench player. However, he presents an intriguing option for those looking to take a chance in GPP formats, as his price has dropped significantly from just two weeks ago.

As a starting center earlier in the season, Looney played 30-35 minutes per night and was very productive, averaging 40 DK points per game over his last six starts. He even scored at least 38 fantasy points in five of those games.

Although he has been relegated to the bench recently, there is a chance he could be moved back into the starting lineup after the team struggled without him in the last two games. If this happens, Looney becomes an excellent play. But even if he remains on the bench, he still presents a sneaky option with the potential to provide 6X value.

Kyle Lowry

Despite not being the All-Star he once was, Kyle Lowry has been putting up solid numbers in the playoffs. He’s scored at least 24 DK points in each of the last four games, averaging 32 DK points across 28 minutes per game.

With Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo out, Lowry has been given a larger role in the offense and could potentially see even more improvement. Furthermore, Lowry appears to be healthy for the first time in months, which bodes well for his performance in the upcoming game.

At such an affordable price point, Lowry is a solid option to consider for your lineup.

Draymond Green

As the emotional leader of the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green is known for his strong performances in high-pressure situations. In fact, in 12 career elimination games, Green has proven himself to be a reliable and consistent performer, averaging 12.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. This impressive performance translates to over 40 fantasy points per game, which is similar to his recent performances.

Green has also been in top form lately, having scored at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. Over that span, he has averaged 34 DraftKings points per game, making him an excellent value option for fantasy players.

Green’s performance in the upcoming elimination game against the Lakers is also expected to be strong. He is the only player below $7K who is a legitimate triple-double threat and is likely to play 40 minutes in the game. With the Lakers conceding the most rebounds and assists per road game during the playoffs, Green becomes an even more attractive option for fantasy players.
