NBA Top Plays on Draftkings and Fanduel for Wednesday 1/11/23

A graphic showing the top projected NBA players for DraftKings with their statistics and values

Welcome to our Top NBA Plays on Draftkings and Fanduel for Wednesday, January 11th, 2023! The past week has been filled with drama and surprises in the NBA, making it more important than ever to stay up-to-date on the latest injury reports and player news. Injuries can shake up the fantasy landscape and present opportunities for value plays, which is why it is crucial for DFS players to stay informed.

In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the top players to consider for today’s main slate, which features eight games in total. With six games tipping off at 8PM or earlier, we should have most of the important injury updates before lineup lock. However, we’ll be keeping an eye on the Suns and Pistons, who are both on back-to-backs and may have players sitting due to injuries. Keep reading as we break down the best options for today’s slate and help you make informed choices for your DFS lineup.

If you want to ensure that your lineup is anchored by one of the most reliable players in DFS, look no further than Giannis Antetokounmpo. The reigning MVP has been a fantasy powerhouse this season, scoring at least 40 DraftKings points in all but one game and averaging over 57 fantasy points per game.

His recent form has been even more impressive, scoring at least 72 DK points in four of his last six games. With Khris Middleton out, Giannis has been doing everything for his team, making him one of the safest bets for 40-50 fantasy points, and his high floor makes him an ideal option with so many cheap players available. His matchup against the Atlanta Hawks is also favorable, as they are ranked 22nd in points allowed.

Giannis is also posting amazing stats recently, averaging 34.4 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists over his last 10 games, which includes five games with more than 70 DK points, making him a must-have in your lineup. He should continue to dominate against the Hawks, who give up the league’s second-most rebounds and fifth-most points in the paint per game.

De’Aaron Fox, the rising star point guard for the Sacramento Kings, is quickly becoming one of the most exciting players to watch in the league. Not only is he averaging an impressive 41 DraftKings points per game this season, but he’s also on track to make it to the All-Star game potentially.

Fox’s performance is even more impressive when we take a closer look at his recent games. In his last seven games, he’s scored at least 42 DraftKings points in five of them, with two of those games resulting in a stunning 54 or more fantasy points. This level of consistency, coupled with his incredible speed and agility, makes him a must-have in your fantasy lineup. Today, Fox has a particularly favorable matchup against the Houston Rockets, who rank 21st in points allowed and 28th in defensive efficiency. Even more importantly, the Rockets surrender the most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Fox has already proven to be a formidable opponent for the Rockets, having finished with at least 50 DraftKings points in two of their last three meetings.

The Rockets are also allowing the league-high 14.3 three-pointers per game, making Fox’s scoring potential even higher. Fox is averaging 25.5 points, 3+ rebounds and 7+ assists over his last 10 games. He’s already had six games with more than 40 points and a high of 55.5. Given his current form and the Rockets’ poor defense against point guards, it’s highly likely that Fox will continue to shine and dominate the court. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have this rising star on your fantasy team, his performance will be worth every penny of his $8600 salary on DraftKings or $8900 on FanDuel.

D’Angelo Russell has been stellar since Karl-Anthony Towns went down with an injury. Towns’ injury has allowed Russell to score at least 31 DraftKings points in 18 of his last 21 games, with an impressive average of 35 points in that span. This level of performance from a player priced at $7000 is an absolute steal.

Since Towns’ injury, Russell has been seeing a significant boost in minutes, shot attempts, and usage. This increase in opportunities has allowed him to showcase his true potential and it’s clear that he is a valuable asset to the team. The matchup against the Detroit Pistons only adds to his appeal as the Pistons are ranked 29th in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. They also own a 29th OPRK against opposing point guards. This makes the Pistons an ideal opponent for Russell and it’s likely that he will continue to dominate on the court.

With the Pistons being on a back-to-back and potentially without Edwards, the Timberwolves could have a significant advantage on the court. Rudy Gobert, who is averaging over 40 FPPG over his last three games, is an excellent option to consider and is looking at a potential ceiling game. Kyle Anderson is also reasonably priced at $6200 and is another player that can be considered. With the favorable matchup and the potential absence of Edwards, it’s likely that the Timberwolves will perform well and provide great fantasy value. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have Russell and other key players on your fantasy team, they will help you secure a win.

Are you ready to dominate?

Are you looking for a guard that can bring you consistent fantasy points? Look no further than Duane Washington Jr. for tonight’s game. With a number of key players on the Suns’ injury report, including Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton, Washington is set to have another strong start.

With all of these injuries, he’s been forced into a larger role as the primary playmaker, and he’s delivering in a big way. He’s been a top fantasy player over the last week, averaging nearly 40 points per game. Even against a weaker Denver defense ranked 26th, he’s a solid choice for your lineups.

Take advantage of this opportunity to add Washington to your roster at a great value of ($5700 on FD, $4600 on DK). With his recent performances, he’s a sure bet to bring you a big return on investment. Don’t hesitate and make the move to include him in your lineup tonight.

Despite his reputation of being a disappointment in the past, Kuzma has been having a career year and is now an underrated asset in the fantasy world.

With a usage rate of over 30 percent when Bradley Beal is off the floor, Kuzma has become one of the primary ball-handlers and scorers on the roster. He’s been consistently delivering big fantasy numbers, scoring at least 31 DraftKings points in 25 of his last 28 games, and has an upside of 60 points. He’s facing a great matchup against the Bulls, who have been surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing forwards.

At a price of $7,400 on FD and $8,500 on DK, Kuzma is at his cheapest since November and is a great value play even before we know the status of Porzingis, Kispert, and Gafford. He could be a must-play with a 7-9x value upside. With the Wizards missing Bradley Beal and potentially Kristaps Porzingis, Kuzma has an opportunity to lead the offense, making him an excellent choice to add to your lineup.

Mikal Bridges of the Phoenix Suns may not be a fantasy superstar, but his role and minutes on the floor make him a valuable addition to your fantasy lineup. With several key players on the injury report for the Suns, Bridges has been given an expanded role in the offense, and he has been delivering in a big way.

In his last game, Bridges saw 40 minutes of action, scoring 53 DraftKings points. He’s always been a lock for 35-40 minutes, and with so much usage on the table, he could be even more dangerous against Denver’s 26th-ranked defense. He’s priced at $6,100 on FD and $6,300 on DK, making him a great value, even if Ayton and Shamet both play. With his consistent minutes and a favorable matchup, he should be considered a strong choice for your lineup tonight.

Another Suns player who is a strong value player is Torrey Craig. He had 12 points and 14 rebounds in his last game and is a lock for 30-35 minutes, making him a great addition to your lineup. He is excellent value at $5000 on FD and $4500 on DK. With so many injuries, the Suns will have players stepping up, and Craig is one of them in a good situation tonight

That’s all I’ve got for today 🤟❤💯
