Breece Hall in NFL Best Ball
Breece Hall is an attractive Running Back coming into 2023. He is coming off an impressive start to his career where he averaged 5.8 yards per carry and logged five touchdowns in just seven games.
One thing that makes Hall an intriguing fantasy option is his involvement in the passing game. In 2022, he averaged 4.4 targets per game, which adds an extra layer of value in PPR formats. With the Jets attempting just 405 rushing plays last season, Hall should have plenty of opportunities to see both rushing and receiving work in this offense.
Another positive for Hall is his current situation with the Jets. The team has made some significant changes to its offense, including the likely trade for Aaron Rodgers. With Rodgers under center, the Jets offense is expected to be more dynamic and explosive, which should open up more opportunities for Hall. He also has a clear path to the starting role in the backfield, with no clear competition for touches from other running backs on the roster.
The biggest concern for fantasy managers when it comes to Hall is his recovery from the ACL tear. However, reports out of training camp suggest that he is progressing well and should be ready to go for the start of the season. Assuming he is healthy, Hall should have a significant role in the Jets’ offense and could be a valuable asset for fantasy managers.
Taking Breece Hall early in NFL Best Ball drafts does come with risks but, he absolutely has a path to being a RB1. Coming off an ACL tear is tricky but, if you’re risk adverse it is worth a shot to get some shares of Breece Hall!
