Jalen Hurts in NFL Best Ball
In 2022, Hurts attempted 460 passes, which is a relatively low number compared to other quarterbacks. However, he made up for it with his legs, logging 165 rushing attempts for 760 yards and 13 touchdowns. This rushing production gives Hurts a solid floor!
Hurts has a current ADP of 17 which falls in line with his QB3 finish last year behind Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. It should also be noted that Hurts outscored Allen and Mahomes if you go by average score but, he missed some time due to injury.
Hurts has a career touchdown percentage of 4.2% through the air, which is a solid number to start his career. However, if he is able to increase his passing volume, there is potential for him to throw for more touchdowns in 2023.
The Eagles logged 531 rushing attempts in 2022, and with the departure of Miles Sanders, Kenneth Gainwell and Rashaad Penny should see the workload at the Running Back position. However, the Eagles still have a solid group of weapons in the passing game, including Dallas Goedert, DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown, and Quez Watkins.
Jalen Hurts is in a really good position to not only be QB3 but, he could easily be QB1 and on his way to an MVP campaign! If you can get exposure to Jalen Hurts, do it!
