NFL DFS DraftKings Studs for Cash Games for Week 7 Results

Matthew Stafford – QB – Los Angeles Rams – $7.1k

Stafford finished as the second overall QB on the slate with 30.16 DraftKings points. He helped crush his former team with three touchdown passes and a 2pt conversion.

Darrel Williams – RB – Kansas City Chiefs – $5.8k

Williams finished as the 27th overall running back on the slate. The Chiefs offense was the only thing more disastrous than this play.

NFL DFS FanDuel Studs for Cash Games for Week 7 Results

Tom Brady – QB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $8k

Brady scored 24.44 FanDuel points and finished as the 5th overall quarterback on the slate. I’ll take it. The QBs that out scored Brady (Tua, Burrow, Stafford, and Rodgers) were all within four points of Brady but three of them were cheaper.

Myles Gaskin – RB – Miami Dolphins – $5.6k

Gaskin finished as the 6th overall running back on the FanDuel slate. He scored a decent 15.7 FD points in Miami’s last second loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Only D’Andre Swift and Damien Harris scored more than 20 points on the slate so Gaskin held his own this week.

NFL DFS DraftKings Studs for Tournaments for Week 7 Results

Lamar Jackson – QB – Baltimore Ravens – $7.4k

Lamar ended up as the 8th overall quarterback on the slate with 23.08 DraftKings points. It was sufficient but not slate breaking so I count it as a dud in my books.

Robert Woods – WR – Los Angeles Rams – $6.4k

This was the wrong week to pivot off of Cooper Kupp to Robert Woods if you were playing the target guessing game. Woods finished as the 16th overall wide receiver with 15 DK points. The best move was a Kupp-Van Jefferson pairing with Matthew Stafford. Jefferson had a tag of $3.5k and scored 14.3 DK points.

Kyler Murray – QB – Arizona Cardinals – $8.7k

Murray finished as the 8th overall quarterback on the slate with 22.44 FD points. At least he scored over 20 but I was expecting a 30+ game from Murray. This goes down as a bust in my book.

Tyreek Hill – WR – Kansas City Chiefs – $8.5k

Speaking of bust, here’s another member of the Kansas City Chiefs offense. Hill finished as the 26th overall wide receiver on the slate and scored 9.7 FD points. Mega bust.

NFL DFS DraftKings Studs for Cash Games for Week 8

Jalen Hurts – QB – Philadelphia Eagles – $7.2k

Hurts is somewhat on the hot seat after a dismal performance against the Las Vegas Raiders. The remedy? A visit from the league’s 29th ranked defense against the quarterback position in the form of the Detroit Lions. Hurts is the highest value at the quarterback position in our Team Rise or Fall NFL DFS Study Hub.

Darrell Henderson – RB – Los Angeles Rams – $6.5k

Henderson is the top value at the running back position in our NFL DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We’re projecting him for a healthy 19.5 DK points against a Houston Texans defense that ranks 32nd against the running back position.

NFL DFS FanDuel Studs for Cash Games for Week 8

Ryan Tannehill – QB – Tennessee Titans – $7.5k

Tannehill is the 4th highest value at the quarterback position in the TROF NFL DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He and the Titans take on the Indianapolis Colts and their 32 ranked defense against the QB position. This seems like an ideal week to play the quarterback from one of the hottest teams in the league.

Chubba Hubbard – RB – Carolina Panthers – $6.6k

Hubbard is the 5th highest value at the running back position in our NFL DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. The Atlanta Falcons are in the bottom half of the league against running backs, and should allow Hubbard to have a good outing.

NFL DFS DraftKings Studs for Tournaments for Week 8

Carson Wentz – QB – Indianapolis Colts – $5.7k

Wentz has a cheap price tag and decent upside. He’s facing a Titans defense that ranks 27th against the QB position in a game with a 49 point implied total. There’s a lot for me to like here.

Ja’Marr Chase – WR – Cincinnati Bengals – $7.5k

The rookie has been incredible to start the season and this has to be the lowest price we’ll see him listed at for the rest of the season. Let’s get in while the getting is good. The New York Jets do rank 5th overall against the wide receiver position but ask Marlon Humphries how that goes.

NFL DFS FanDuel Studs for Tournaments for Week 8

Ryan Tannehill – QB – Tennessee Titans – $7.5k

Vegas is expecting division foes Indianapolis and Tennessee to slug it out on Sunday. If that’s the case I like Tannehill to throw a touchdown or two and run one in himself (Sorry Derrick Henry). The Colts defense ranks 32nd against the quarterback position, and the game currently has a 49 point implied total.

Chris Godwin – WR – Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $7.2k

Godwin is $300 cheaper than Mike Evans on FD while still giving us exposure to the Bucs offense. Our NFL DFS Study Hub projects him for eight targets. The Saints defense ranks 24th against the wide receiver position so this is an excellent spot for all Bucs pass catchers.
