NFL DFS First Look Fanduel Lineup Week 4

NFL DFS First Look Fanduel Lineup Week 4

Crafting the Lineup with Strategy

When building this lineup using Fantasy Cruncher, I employed a deliberate strategy. My aim was to create a lineup that maximizes the potential for strong synergy among players. Here’s a breakdown of the key elements of this strategy:

QB Stacking: I prioritized a 2-player stack with my quarterback. This approach allows for a more interconnected lineup, where the QB’s performance can significantly impact the selected wide receiver, tight end or running back potentially leading to higher point production. Ideally you would want to only include pass catching backs in a stack like this.

Opponent Bring-Back Stack: To further enhance the lineup’s versatility and mitigate risk, I ensured the inclusion of at least one player from the opposing team. This “bring-back stack” allows for potential maximum upside as we are attempting to benefit from a game environment exploding where both teams are putting up points in bunches.

Secondary Game Stack: Additionally, I strategically incorporated a secondary game stack involving players from a different game. This secondary stack has the same fundamental thought process as the main game stack as we’re looking to capitalize on players in a different game with a great game environment.

Below, you will see the setup inside Fantasy Cruncher to get a lineup like this with 2 unique stacks. You can add several layers to this if you’d like but this is the basic setup.

Quarterback: Jalen Hurts ($8,800)

Opponent: WAS
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 11.58%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 27.68

Jalen Hurts has been a fantasy stud this season, and he’s our top pick at quarterback for Fanduel. In Week 3, he had a solid performance with 277 passing yards and a touchdown, along with 28 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Hurts offers a high floor and ceiling, making him an excellent choice for your DFS lineup.

Running Back: D’Andre Swift ($7,800)

Opponent: WAS
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 7.36%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 15.07

D’Andre Swift continues to shine in the Eagles’ backfield. In Week 3, he rushed for 130 yards and added 8 receiving yards. Swift has been a consistent producer, and his ability to break big runs makes him a valuable asset. He’s a strong play at running back in Week 4.

Running Back: Javonte Williams ($5,800)

Opponent: CHI
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 18.32%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 14.18

Javonte Williams may not have had the best game in Week 3, but he’s a talented back with a bright future. He rushed 11 times for 42 yards and caught 2 passes for 23 yards. Despite a challenging game script, Williams managed to provide decent production. He’s a value play at running back and could exceed expectations in Week 4.

Wide Receiver: Jahan Dotson ($5,500)

Opponent: PHI
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 2.49%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 8.26

Jahan Dotson may have been held in check in Week 3, but he’s a talented receiver with big-play potential. He caught 2 passes for 21 yards in a tough loss to the Bills. Dotson has the ability to break free for long gains, and he could be a sneaky play in Week 4 against the Eagles.

Wide Receiver: Joshua Palmer ($6,100)

Opponent: LV
Start Time (ET): 4:05 PM
Ownership: 8.35%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 11.06

Joshua Palmer is an emerging talent for the Chargers, and he’s worth a look in your Fanduel lineup. In Week 3, he caught 4 passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. With Mike Williams out for the season, Palmer will see an increased role in the offense going forward. He’s a solid value play at wide receiver.

Wide Receiver: Ja’Marr Chase ($8,200)

Opponent: TEN
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 20.30%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 18.05

Ja’Marr Chase had a breakout performance in Week 3, and he’s a must-have in your Fanduel lineup. He caught 12 passes for 141 yards, showcasing his big-play ability. Chase is a favorite target of Joe Burrow and is poised for another strong outing in Week 4 against the Titans who are terrible vs the pass.

Tight End: Dallas Goedert ($5,900)

Opponent: WAS
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 8.77%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 9.29

Dallas Goedert provides a solid option at tight end for your Fanduel lineup. While he didn’t put up huge numbers in Week 3, his consistent involvement in the passing game makes him a reliable target. Goedert is a valuable piece of the Eagles’ offense and could be a difference-maker in Week 4.

Flex: Josh Jacobs ($8,200)

Opponent: LAC
Start Time (ET): 4:05 PM
Ownership: 9.39%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 19.30

Josh Jacobs may have had a slow start to the season, but he’s the workhorse for the Raiders. In Week 3, he rushed 17 times for 62 yards and caught 3 passes for 18 yards. Facing a struggling Chargers defense, Jacobs has the potential for a breakout game in Week 4.

Defense: Los Angeles Rams ($3,600)

Opponent: IND
Start Time (ET): 1:00 PM
Ownership: 9.06%
Fantasy Points (Fpts): 6.90

The Los Angeles Rams’ defense had a solid showing in Week 3, despite the team’s loss to the Bengals. They collected two sacks and one interception while holding the Bengals to 67 rushing yards. In Week 4, they face a Colts’ offense that has been surprisingly good. While it’s a tough matchup, the Rams’ defense has shown it can make plays and is a reasonable option at a lower price point.

Total Salary: $59,900

Total Ownership: 95.62%
Total Projected Fantasy Points: 129.79
