NFL DFS Lineup Study: Week 10

NFL DFS Lineup Study Week 2 Milly Maker Review

Thanks for joining me for another NFL DFS Lineup Study for DraftKings and FanDuel. I don’t know what it is but the additional week that the NFL added makes me feel like the season is much longer than an extra seven days. There are still eight weeks left in the regular season somehow. That’s plenty of time to chase your losses or win even more money, depending on how your season is going. Week 10 was ok for me but I am still yet to have the huge breakout weekend. I know past performance isn’t indicative of future results and still I believe that because I’ve had huge weeks in previous seasons, a monster week is headed my way.

If you find yourself using the tools but still unable to put together a decent showing then go ahead and reach out to our coaches. Use everything that we have to offer and you should see improvement in your play. I say this because it’s worked for me since the launch of the site. We can’t win every time we play but we can definitely put ourselves in the best position to be successful. So let’s get to it!

The information below comes via Fantasy Cruncher. Thanks Fantasy Cruncher! Their Lineup Study feature allows you to look back through years of contests on DraftKings and FanDuel, and the Lineup Rewind feature lets you practice different lineup building strategies without burning through your bankroll with trial and error. The site provides these services for the NFL and nearly all the other sports that DK and FD offer.

NFL DFS Lineup DraftKings Milly Maker Week 10 Winner

Here’s the winning lineup for the $20 Milly Maker:

NFL DFS Lineup Study for Week 10 on DraftKings

If I’ve typed it once, I’ve typed it a 1,000 times.. The majority of Milly Maker winning lineups feature a quarterback from a game within the Top 5 for implied game total. The Buffalo Bills – New York Jets squeaked in there with a 48.5 total to keep the trend popping. How awesome is it to know that you can start your weekly NFL research by simply isolating the games with the five highest implied totals?

The lineup construction for eppy99 is what I really want to focus on this week. The stack is a simple QB+WR combination so nothing out of the ordinary there. What we see here (and for the last two weeks) is that eppy99 used two players from the same team (Hunter Henry and Rhamondre Stevenson) without stacking them with their quarterback or the opposing quarterback. I stay away from that strategy and I’ve also never won $1,000,000 so what the hell do I know?

Another part of the lineup construction was using the chalk running backs and then getting unique with the rest of the lineup. D’Ernest Johnson and Mark Ingram had a combined salary of 9.2k and nearly hit 5x value with a total of 43.5 points. Sure you held hands with a lot of the field but it allowed for filling a lineup with Josh Allen, CeeDee Lamb, Keenan Allen, and Stefon Diggs. That’s a fair trade off.

NFL DFS Lineup Study for the Week 10 FanDuel $1.75M NFL Sunday Million ($300K to 1st)

Let’s take a quick look at how things played out on FanDuel

The winner, kgarabed, used the same Josh Allen-Stefon Diggs, QB+WR stack as did the DK winner. The difference here is that the FanDuel winner ran it back with Elijah Moore of the New York Jets for a QB+WR+OPP WR stack. That’s one of my favorite stack types although it hasn’t been the most successful this season. Overall it’s a solid lineup that also used the three running back approach. Good job by kgarabed and congrats on the money!

That’s all for me. As always, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @eagsixcards. Good luck to everyone this weekend!
