Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 13 Study Hub Breakdown for DraftKings and FanDuel! I’m going to highlight players each week that stand out in the Rise or Fall NFL Study Hub. This is a data driven piece with no personal bias. When referring to the Range of Outcomes tab, those numbers are referring to GPP target scores. Let’s get into it!
Tom Brady – DraftKings $7,200 FanDuel $8,100
Tom Brady comes in as the highest projected quarterback on both sites at 23.79 on DraftKings and 22.63 on FanDuel. Tampa Bay is in the game with the highest game total this week at 50.5.
Brady is projected for 38.06 pass attempts, 307.36 passing yards, and 2.41 passing touchdowns. Brady will continue to have a high volume with high upside pass catchers.
In the Range of Outcomes tab, Brady has a 32.7% chance to score 28.6 points on DraftKings and a 34.6% chance to score 26.3 points on FanDuel. Brady is a high upside quarterback is an appealing game to stack in tournaments.
Lamar Jackson – DraftKings $7,800 FanDuel $8,500
Lamar Jackson comes in as the second highest projected quarterback on both sites at 23.52 on DraftKings and 22.57 on FanDuel. The Ravens take on the Steelers with a team total of 23.75.
Jackson is projected for 31.58 pass attempts, 227.36 passing yards, 12.04 rushing attempts, 67.21 rushing yards, and 1.88 total touchdowns. Jackson is going to have to continue to carry the Ravens’ offense and have a ton of volume.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Jackson has a 31.7% chance to score 30.4 points on DraftKings and a 35.6% chance to score 27.5 points on FanDuel. Jackson has a high floor for cash games and the ceiling to be in the winning lineup.
Jonathan Taylor – DraftKings $9,200 FanDuel $10,500
Jonathan Taylor comes in as the highest projected running back on both sites at 24.69 on DraftKings and 21.19 on FanDuel. Taylor comes in with a massive workload averaging 25.8 total touches over his past four weeks.
Taylor is projected for 20.41 rushing attempts, 99.24 rushing yards, 3.52 receptions, 31.92 receiving yards, and 1.05 total touchdowns. Taylor is expensive but, his workload is secure against a Texans’ defense than ranks 29th against opposing running backs.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Taylor has a 20.9% chance to score 34.6 points on DraftKings and a 15.3% chance to score 33.5 points on FanDuel. Taylor will cost a lot but, he has the highest ceiling on the slate at his position.
David Montgomery – DraftKings $5,600 FanDuel $6,500
David Montgomery comes in as the thirteenth highest projected running back on DraftKings at 15.89 and the ninth highest on FanDuel at 14.36.Montgomery has seen an average of 16.7 touches over the past four weeks. The volume is there and his price is low.
Montgomery is projected for 17.37 rushing attempts, 73.72 rushing yards, 2.05 receptions, 16.21 receiving yards, and 0.61 total touchdowns. Montgomery projects to have a high workload in a game with a total of 45.5.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Montgomery has a 33.3% chance to score 23.8 points on DraftKings and a 32.6% chance to score 21.5 points on FanDuel. Montgomery grades out as a high probability play for tournaments.
Justin Jefferson – DraftKings $8,200 FanDuel $8,000
Justin Jefferson comes in as the fourth highest projected wide receiver on both sites at 18.4 on DraftKings and 14.52 on FanDuel. Dalvin Cook is out and Jefferson has a market share of 27.13% over the past four weeks.
Jefferson is projected for 8.8 targets, 88.51 receiving yards, and 0.57 receiving touchdowns. Jefferson is cheaper than Cooper Kupp with a similar ceiling and market share.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Jefferson has a 10.6% chance to score 31.6 points on DraftKings and a 10% chance to score 26 points on FanDuel. Jefferson grades out as a great tournament target and has the volume we’re looking for in cash games.
Chris Godwin – DraftKings $6,600 FanDuel $7,600
Chris Godwin comes in as the sixth highest projected wide receiver on DraftKings at 16.9 and the fifth highest on FanDuel at 13.84. Tampa Bay has a team total of 30.75 and Antonio Brown remains out this week.
Goodwin is projected for 6.3 targets, 75.1 receiving yards, and 0.44 receiving touchdowns. Godwin should continue to get a solid volume for his price tag this week.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Godwin has a 32.3% chance to score 26.8 points on DraftKings and a 20.7% chance to score 24.8 points on FanDuel. Godwin has the high ceiling we’re looking for in tournaments and stands out in his price range.
Dallas Goedert – DraftKings $4,500 FanDuel $5,800
Dallas Goedert comes in as the highest projected tight end on on DraftKings at 12.87 and the third highest on FanDuel at 10.81. Goedert offers salary relief on DraftKings and Philadelphia has a team total of 25.75.
Goedert is projected for 4.8 targets, 59.65 receiving yards, and 0.43 receiving touchdowns. Goedert is coming off a game where he only saw 3 targets but, the tight end position is volatile.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Goedert has an 19.1% chance to score 20.5 points on DraftKings and a 11.2% chance to score 19.4 points on FanDuel. Goedert is a solid pay down option on DraftKings and a has the upside to be in the winning lineup on FanDuel.
Kyle Pitts – DraftKings $5,600 FanDuel $6,200
Kyle Pitts comes in as the second highest projected tight end on both sites at 14.34 on DraftKings and 11.6 on FanDuel. Pitts stands out at his position and fits well into a Tampa Bay/Atlanta game stack.
Pitts is projected for 6.3 targets, 69.28 receiving yards, and 0.28 receiving touchdowns. Pitts has a market share of 21.55% over the past four weeks and Atlanta should be forced to pass in a negative game script.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Pitts has a 11.5% chance to score 23.8 points on DraftKings and a 9.1% chance to score 20.6 points on FanDuel. Pitts grades out as a high upside tournament play.
