Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 14 Study Hub Breakdown for DraftKings and FanDuel! I’m going to highlight players each week that stand out in the Rise or Fall NFL Study Hub. This is a data driven piece with no personal bias. When referring to the Range of Outcomes tab, those numbers are referring to GPP target scores. Let’s get into it!

Quarterback

Patrick Mahomes – DraftKings $8,000 FanDuel $8,500

Patrick Mahomes comes in as the highest projected quarterback on both sites at 22.95 on DraftKings and 22.13 on FanDuel. Kansas City has a team total of 29 against Las Vegas this week.

Mahomes is projected for 36.85 pass attempts, 267.73 passing yards, and 2.21 passing touchdowns. Mahomes will have a massive volume and has the elite pass catchers we look for when stacking in tournaments.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Mahomes has the second highest ceiling on the slate on both sites behind only Lamar Jackson. Get some Mahomes stacks in tournaments.

Lamar Jackson – DraftKings $7,400 FanDuel $7,900

Lamar Jackson comes in as the fourth highest projected quarterback on DraftKings at 21.87 and the third highest on FanDuel at 21.32. The Ravens take on the Browns with a game total of 42.

Jackson is projected for 31.88 pass attempts, 208.85 passing yards, 10.22 rushing attempts, 62.36 rushing yards, and 1.69 total touchdowns. This game has a lower total than we would like but, the volume will continue to be there for Jackson.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Jackson has the highest ceiling on the slate on both sites due to his rushing upside. He is a great target for tournaments with high upside stacking options.

Running Back

Austin Ekeler – DraftKings $8,300 FanDuel $9,200

Austin Ekeler comes in as the highest projected running back on both sites at 22.29 on DraftKings and 18.53 on FanDuel. Ekeler is versatile in both the passing and running game which gives him a massive ceiling in a game where the Chargers have a team total of 27.5.

Ekeler is projected for 14.5 rushing attempts, 61.1 rushing yards, 4.86 receptions, 43.75 receiving yards, and 1.11 total touchdowns. Ekeler is more expensive than I would like on FanDuel but, he still has a rating of 114.86.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Ekeler has the third highest ceiling on both sites behind Leonard Fournette and Joe Mixon. Ekeler is a safe play for cash games and has the ceiling we’re looking for in tournaments.

Leonard Fournette – DraftKings $7,400 FanDuel $7,600

Leonard Fournette comes in as the second highest projected running back on both sites at 21.08 on DraftKings and 18.1 on FanDuel. Fournette has seen an average of 19.8 touches per game over the past four weeks and Tampa Bay has a team total of 28.

Fournette is projected for 17.04 rushing attempts, 72.63 rushing yards, 5.36 receptions, 38.87 receiving yards, and 0.85 total touchdowns. Fournette is popping in projections and grades out well at his price point.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Fournette has the highest ceiling on the slate and has a nice price point on both sites. He looks great for cash games and the tournament upside is there.

Wide Receiver

Tyreek Hill – DraftKings $8,500 FanDuel $8,700

Tyreek Hill comes in as the highest projected wide receiver on both sites at 20.31 on DraftKings and 16.16 on FanDuel. Hill has a rating over 110 on both sites this week making him look like the top pay up option of the week.

Hill is projected for 8.7 targets, 74.14 receiving yards, and 0.73 receiving touchdowns. Hill has a market share of 24.07 over his past four weeks and Kansas City has a team total of 29.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Hill has the highest ceiling at his position and grades out as a great tournament play.

Chris Godwin – DraftKings $7,100 FanDuel $7,700

Chris Godwin comes in as the second highest projected wide receiver on both sites at 17.71 on DraftKings and 13.66 on FanDuel. Godwin remains underpriced with Antonio Brown out of the lineup.

Goodwin is projected for 9 targets, 76.7 receiving yards, and 0.54 receiving touchdowns. Godwin has a market share of 21.82% over the past four weeks and saw a staggering 17 targets last week.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Godwin has the third highest ceiling on the slate and grades out as a better option on DraftKings than FanDuel. I’d expect a heavy workload for Godwin this week.

Tight End

Travis Kelce – DraftKings $7,400 FanDuel $7,500

Travis Kelce comes in as the highest projected tight end on both sites at 17.09 on DraftKings and 13.66 on FanDuel. Kelce is at an affordable price tag and fits into the high upside Kansas City stacks this week.

Kelce is projected for 8.7 targets, 70.15 receiving yards, and 0.58 receiving touchdowns. Kelce has a market share of 24.07% over the past four weeks and has seen 8-10 targets in those games.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Kelce has the highest ceiling at his position and grades as the highest rated tight end on both sites. This looks like a great week to spend up at tight end.

Mark Andrews – DraftKings $5,900 FanDuel $6,900

Mark Andrews comes in as the fourth highest projected tight end on both sites at 12.76 on DraftKings and 10.13 on FanDuel. Andrews Looks to be underpriced on DraftKings and should get a hefty market share this week.

Andrews is projected for 9.3 targets, 54.28 receiving yards, and 0.36 receiving touchdowns. Andrews has a market share of 25.34% over the past four weeks and grades out as the top stacking option with Lamar Jackson.

In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Andrews has the fourth highest ceiling on the slate likely due to the low game total. If the Ravens hit the over this week, Andrews likely has a big day.

Good Luck on Sunday!
