NFL DFS Week 3 Study Hub Breakdown

nfl dfs

Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 3 Study Hub Breakdown! We’re going to highlight two players per position that stand out in both projections and ratings to get a feel for what plays stand out in the Study Hub. Let’s get into it!

Josh Allen – Allen ranks first in the ratings and projections on both sites. The Bills have an implied team total of 29.25 and Allen should have a large volume of pass attempts. Allen is projected for 36.06 pass attempts, 280.91 passing yards, 7.19 rushing attempts, 38.53 rushing yards, and 2.63 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Allen has the highest ceiling on the slate with a DraftKings25% score of 35.43 and a FanDuel25% score of 33.46. I would focus on stacking Stefon Diggs with Josh Allen as that has proven to be a top stack thus far in 2022!

Jalen Hurts – Jalen Hurts ranks second in ratings and projections on both sites. The Eagles draw a matchup against the Commanders with an implied total of 27.75. Hurts is projected for 32.01 pass attempts, 247.94 passing yards, 9.57 rushing attempts, 48.84 rushing yards, and 2.17 total touchdowns.

In the Range or Outcomes tab, Hurts has a really nice ceiling with a DraftKings 25% score of 32.84 and a FanDuel25% score of 31.38. A.J. Brown is the top stacking target with DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert coming in as secondary options.

RUNNING BACKS

Dalvin Cook – Cook ranks first in ratings and second in projections on both sites among running backs. Minnesota has an implied team total of 29.25 and we’ve seen Cook have a high volume in a positive game script. He is projected for 18.11 rushing attempts, 79.26 rushing yards, 3.44 receptions, 26.44 receiving yards, and 0.96 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, McCaffrey comes in with a Rise% of 19.1% on DraftKings and a 19.3% Rise% on FanDuel. The Study Hub is pointing to a solid game from Cook and I would throw the results from last week out the window. Dalvin Cook is in a great spot to succeed!

David Montgomery – Montgomery ranks seventh in ratings and eighth in projections on both sites. The Bears come in with an implied total of 21.75 against the Texans. Montgomery is projected for 16.12 rushing attempts, 63.24 rushing yards, 3.38 receptions, 25.56 receiving yards, and 0.60 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Montgomery has a Rise% of 17.6 % on DraftKings and a Rise% of 21.5% on FanDuel. The Bears have proven they are committed to establishing the run and Montgomery will handle the bulk of the workload.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Cooper Kupp – Kupp ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites. The Rams have an implied team total of 27.25 against the Cardinals. Kupp is projected for 14.5 targets, 107.3 receiving yards, and 0.76 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Kupp comes in with a Rise% of 16.4% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 22.3% on FanDuel. Kupp is a consistent performer and provides the highest ceiling at his position!

Stefon Diggs – Diggs ranks fourth in the ratings and third in projections on both sites. The Bills have the high total that we mentioned earlier and Diggs has a reasonable price tag of only $7,700 on DraftKings. Diggs is projected for 7.22, 89.57 receiving yards, and 0.67 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Diggs comes in with a Rise% of 14.1% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 22.2% on FanDuel.Fire up the Bills stacks with Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen!

TIGHT ENDS

Darren Waller – Waller ranks third in ratings and projections on both sites. The Raiders have an implied total of 24.25 against the Titans. Waller is projected for 7 targets, 54.27 receiving yards, and 0.34 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Waller comes in with a Rise% of 27% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 30% on FanDuel. Waller is a solid mid-range target if you do not want to spend up at tight end!

Travis Kelce – Kelce ranks first in the ratings and projections on both sites. The Chiefs have an implied team total of 28 against the Colts. Kelce is projected for 8 targets, 73.86 receiving yards, and 0.58 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Kelce comes in with a Rise% of 23.3% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 25.4% on FanDuel. Kelce is the top tournament option at tight end and my preferred option in stacks with Patrick Mahomes.

Good luck on Sunday!
