NFL DFS Week 4 Study Hub Breakdown

nfl dfs

Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 4 Study Hub Breakdown! We’re going to highlight two players per position that stand out in both projections and ratings to get a feel for what plays stand out in the Study Hub. Let’s get into it!

Josh Allen – Allen ranks second in the ratings and first in projections on both sites. The Bills draw a matchup with the Ravens with an implied team total of 27.75 and a game total of 52. Allen is projected for 39.71 pass attempts, 303.52 passing yards, 7.06 rushing attempts, 37.72 rushing yards, and 2.59 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Allen has the highest ceiling of any player on the slate! An optimal% of 8.9% on DraftKings and 12% on FanDuel looks amazing for Allen. Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, and Devin Singletary are options to run with Allen.

Jalen Hurts – Jalen Hurts ranks first in ratings and second in projections on both sites. The Eagles have an implied total of 27.5 against the Jaguars.  Hurts is projected for 31.34 pass attempts, 246.21 passing yards, 10.26 rushing attempts, 52.85 rushing yards, and 2.34 total touchdowns.

Hurts has averaged 30.8 points on DraftKings and 28.8 points on FanDuel! A bit of a lower Rise% this week but the raw points should be there.  A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith are the priority stacking options for me. If you want a run back from the Jaguars, Christian Kirk and James Robinson look to be the top options.

RUNNING BACKS

Christian McCaffrey – McCaffrey ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites among running backs. No ceiling games for McCaffrey yet but, he is averaging 17.3 points on DraftKings and 13.7 points on FanDuel while averaging 20 touches per game. He is projected for 18.57 rushing attempts, 78.53 rushing yards, 5.09 receptions, 42.75 receiving yards, and 0.84 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, McCaffrey comes in with a Rise% of 19.1% on DraftKings and a 19.4% Rise% on FanDuel. The quarterback play for Carolina has been rough but, McCaffrey will still get his massive workload. Watch for injury news here!

Saquon Barkley – Barkley ranks third in rating and projections on both sites. Barkley has averaged 22 touches per game and has seen his snap% increase every week. Barkley is projected for 18.71 rushing attempts, 81.48 rushing yards, 4.03 receptions, 28.7 receiving yards, and 0.89 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Barkley has a Rise% of 21.6% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 20.2% on FanDuel. Barkley will get a ton of work in a game where the Giants should be in a neutral to positive game script.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Davante Adams – Adams ranks first in ratings and second in projections on both sites. The Raiders take on the Broncos with an implied team total of 23.25 and Adams has a market share of 29.31% of the passing game targets.  Adams is projected for 11.3 targets, 81.42 receiving yards, and 0.52 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Adams comes in with a Rise% of 24.2% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 25.4% on FanDuel. Adams has seen a touchdown every week and the targets are there. 100+ yard performances are coming!

CeeDee Lamb – Lamb ranks sixth in the ratings and fifth in projections on both sites. Lamb has seen a massive market share of 30.99% and has played at an elite level with Cooper Rush. Lamb is projected for 11.3 targets, 70.76 receiving yards, and 0.42 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Lamb comes in with a Rise% of 19.6% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 21.9% on FanDuel. I’m not interested in stacking the Cowboys but, Lamb looks like a top one off!

TIGHT ENDS

Mark Andrews – Andrews ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites. Andrews has seen an elite target share of 36.47% and is unquestionably Lamar Jackson’s top passing target. Andrews is projected for 10.3 targets, 76.59 receiving yards, and 0.58 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Andrews comes in with a Rise% of 16.9% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 27.2% on FanDuel. Andrews is easily the top tight end on the slate and fits into a Bills-Ravens game stack that looks to be the highest upside option of the week.

Kyle Pitts – Pitts ranks second in the ratings and third in projections on both sites. Pitts has seen a solid market share of 23.68% and has a grade of A for both projection and value this week. Pitts is projected for 6 targets, 57.73 receiving yards, and 0.36 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Pitts comes in with a Rise% of 21.7% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 27.7% on FanDuel. Pitts is at a nice price point and is currently under 10% owned on both sites!

Good luck on Sunday!
