NFL DFS Week 5 Study Hub Breakdown

nfl dfs

Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 5 Study Hub Breakdown! We’re going to highlight two players per position that stand out in both projections and ratings to get a feel for what plays stand out in the Study Hub. Let’s get into it!

Josh Allen – Josh Allen ranks first in the ratings and projections on both sites. The Bills have a massive implied team total of 30.5 and should be poised to dominate Pittsburgh. Allen is projected for 37.13 pass attempts, 290.55 passing yards, 9.18 rushing attempts, 48.21 rushing yards, and 2.83 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Allen has a 14.4% Rise% on DraftKings and a 12.9% Rise% on FanDuel. Aleen is a fantastic option for both tournaments and cash games. I am prioritizing Stefon Diggs in stacks.

Jalen Hurts – Jalen Hurts ranks second in ratings and projections on both sites. The Eagles face the Cardinals with an implied team total of 27.75. Hurts is projected for 31.16 pass attempts, 256.63 passing yards, 10.32 rushing attempts, 50.56 rushing yards, and 2.32 total touchdowns.

In the Range or Outcomes tab, Hurts has a Rise% of 19.7% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 15% on FanDuel. A.J. Brown is a priority for me in Hurts’ stacks!

RUNNING BACKS

Derrick Henry – Henry ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites among running backs. Henry has averaged 21 touches per game this week which is good for a 70% market share of the running back work through 4 weeks. He is projected for 22.82 rushing attempts, 95.16 rushing yards, 2.51 receptions, 20.29 receiving yards, and 0.81 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Henry comes in with a Rise% of 25.8% on DraftKings and a 27.2% Rise% on FanDuel. King Henry has returned this season and he projects to shred the Commanders’ defense.

Dalvin Cook – Cook ranks fourth in ratings and fifth in projections on both sites. Cook has a market share of 70.79% of the running back touches and the Vikings have an implied team total of 25.5 this week. Cook is projected for 18.63 rushing attempts, 83.88 rushing yards, 2.40 receptions, 17.07 receiving yards, and 0.86 total touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Mixon has a Rise% of 27.8% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 24.8% on FanDuel. This is a tremendous spot for Cook to bounce back at reasonable ownership for tournaments.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Cooper Kupp – Kupp ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites. Kupp has seen an average of 13.5 targets per game which is good for a 36.24% market share for the Rams’ offense. Kupp is projected for 13.5 targets, 108.35 receiving yards, and 0.69 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Kupp comes in with a Rise% of 25.2% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 29.1% on FanDuel. Kupp continues to be a top spend-up option this week!

CeeDee Lamb – Lamb ranks ninth in the ratings and eighth in projections on both sites. Lamb has solidified his stranglehold of the WR1 spot in the offense this year with a market share of 33.07%. Lamb is projected for 10.5 targets, 75.04 receiving yards, and 0.42 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Lamb comes in with a Rise% of 27.3% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 29.8% on FanDuel. I’m not interested in stacking Dallas but, Lamb looks like a top option as a one-off this week!

TIGHT ENDS

Zach Ertz – Ertz ranks first in ratings and third in projections on both sites. Ertz has seen a solid market share of 18.34% with 10+ targets in two of those games. Ertz is projected for 7.8 targets, 47.4 receiving yards, and 0.39 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Ertz comes in with a Rise% of 28.8% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 32.6% on FanDuel. The ratings really like Ertz this week and he should get his fair share of targets in a pass-heavy game script.

Tyler Higbee – Higbee ranks second in the ratings and first in projections on both sites. Higbee has seen 9+ targets in three games this year and is only $4,300 on DraftKings and $5,500 on FanDuel. Higbee is projected for 9.5 targets, 57.09 receiving yards, and 0.34 receiving touchdowns.

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Higbee comes in with a Rise% of 23.8% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 29.4% on FanDuel. Higbee looks like a high-upside option as a pay-down tight end! Rams stacks could be sneaky this week.

Good luck on Sunday!
