NFL DFS Week 6 Study Hub Breakdown for DraftKings and FanDuel
Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 6 Study Hub Breakdown for DraftKings and FanDuel! I’m going to highlight players each week that stand out in the Rise or Fall NFL Study Hub. This is a data driven piece with no personal bias. When referring to the Range of Outcomes tab, those numbers are referring to GPP target scores. Let’s get into it!
Patrick Mahomes – DraftKings $8,300 FanDuel $9,000
Patrick Mahomes comes in as the highest rated quarterback on both sites at 98.25 on DraftKings and 97.71 on FanDuel. Kansas City takes on Washington with a team total of 31.
Mahomes is projected for 37.56 pass attempts, 319.35 passing yards, and 2.66 passing touchdowns. Mahomes has scored an average of 28.8 points on DraftKings and 27.4 points on FanDuel over his last 4 weeks.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Mahomes has a 30.2% chance to score 31.9 points on DraftKings and a 34.1% chance to score 29 points on FanDuel. Mahomes has the second highest ceiling on the slate behind Lamar Jackson.
Mahomes offers a high floor in cash games and has a high probability to succeed in tournaments.
Lamar Jackson – DraftKings $7,400 FanDuel $8,200
Lamar Jackson comes in as the second highest rated quarterback on both sites at 97.71 on DraftKings and 97.51 on FanDuel. Baltimore has a 27.25 team total against the Chargers.
Jackson is projected for 31.68 passing attempts, 250.49 passing yards, 10.73 rushing attempts, 62.81 rushing yards, and 2.35 total touchdowns. Over 40 opportunities for Jackson bodes well for his upside in a high scoring game environment.
In the Range of Outcomes Tab, Jackson has a 46.3% chance to score 29.2 points on DraftKings and a 48.9% chance to score 26.6 points on FanDuel. Jackson has the highest ceiling on the slate and is a high probility option in cash games and tournaments.
Austin Ekeler – DraftKings $7,900 FanDuel $8,400
Austin Ekeler comes in as the highest rated running back on both sites at 75.06 on DraftKings and 84.33 on FanDuel. Ekeler has been a workhorse for Los Angeles averaging 18 touches per game and has a 52.76% market share of the running back workload through 5 weeks.
Ekeler is projected for 12.97 rushing attempts, 58.4 rushing yards, 5.04 receptions, 39.33 receiving yards, and 0.75 total touchdowns. Ekeler has been a reliable option for the Chargers and should be a key piece of the offense again this week in a high scoring game environment.
Range of Outcomes Tab, Ekeler has a 21.3% chance to score 30.7 points on DraftKings and a 19.9% chance to score 27.2 points on FanDuel. Ekeler has the second highest ceiling on the slate behind Christian McCaffery.
Darrell Henderson – DraftKings $6,000 FanDuel $7,300
Darrell Henderson comes in as the fourth highest rated running back on DraftKings at 65.02 and the third highest on FanDuel at 64.46. The Rams has a 29 point team total and are favored to win with a spread of -10.5.
Henderson is projected for 16.84 rushing attempts, 71.7 rushing yards, 2.68 receptions, 23.79 receiving yards, and 0.8 total touchdowns. This looks to be a game where Los Angeles can lean on the running game in the second half and Henderson could see an increase in workload in that scenario.
Range of Outcomes Tab, Henderson has a 31.7% chance to score 25 points on DraftKings and a 28.2% chance to score 23.9 points on FanDuel. Henderson is a great play for cash games and has the upside to be a RB2 in tournaments.
Davante Adams – DraftKings $9,000 FanDuel $8,500
Davante Adams comes in as the second highest rated wide receiver on DraftKings at 76.82 and the highest rated on FanDuel at 85.13. Adams is coming off a monster performance and his DraftKings rating remains high despite being the highest priced player on the slate.
Adams is projected for 12.2 targets, 105.6 receiving yards, and 0.58 touchdowns. In 2021, Adams has been the recipient of a massive target share of 38.13%.
Range of Outcomes Tab, Adams has a 17.8% chance to score 34 points on DraftKings and a 17.6% chance to score 27.5 points on FanDuel. Adams is a great target as always in cash games and tournaments with a high floor and the highest ceiling on this slate at his position.
Jakobi Meyers – DraftKings $5,500 FanDuel $5,800
Jakobi Meyers comes in as the fourth highest rated wide receiver on DraftKings at 74.63 and the ninth highest rated on FanDuel at 63.53. Meyers stands out as as a value option on both sites in the Study Hub.
Meyers is projected for 9.2 targets, 65.31 receiving yards, and 0.22 touchdowns. Meyers comes into this game with a 24.6% market share. Really high volume for a player in the $5,000 range.
Range of Outcomes Tab, Meyers has a 21.2% chance to score 23.5 points on DraftKings and a 19.2% chance to score 19.4 points on FanDuel. Meyers does not have to be one of the highest scorers on the slate to be an effective use of a roster spot this week given his salary on both sites.
Meyers looks like a great target for cash games and a viable option in tournaments.
Travis Kelce – DraftKings $7,000 FanDuel $8,500
Travis Kelce comes in as the highest rated tight end on both sites at 86.52 on DraftKings and 70.08 on FanDuel. Kelce’s price on DraftKings is appealing and should make him easier to build around or use as a one off.
Kelce is projected for 8.4 targets, 87.27 receiving yards, and 0.7 receiving touchdowns. Kelce should continue to have a high volume sporting a market share of 22.95% thus far in 2021.
Range of Outcomes Tab, Kelce has an 11.2% chance to score 28 points on DraftKings and a 4.2% chance to score 27.5 points on FanDuel. Kelce looks a lot better on DraftKings than FanDuel but, Kelce has the highest ceiling at his position on both sites.
Mark Andrews – DraftKings $5,200 FanDuel $6,300
Mark Andrews comes in as the third highest rated tight end on DraftKings at 73.93 and the fourth highest rated on FanDuel at 58.18. Andrews is coming off a huge performance against the Colts and has a market share of 23.9%.
Andrews is projected for 7.6 targets, 64.34 rushing yards, and 0.49 touchdowns. Andrews will be in a high scoring environment and is an affordable option if you do not want to pay up for Travis Kelce.
Range of Outcomes Tab, Andrews has a 9.9% chance to score 22.6 points on DraftKings and a 5.8% chance to score 20.9 points on FanDuel. I prefer to have Andrews in tournaments with Lamar Jackson and he looks like a solid option on both sites.
Good Luck on Sunday!
