This is a tough week on the sneak peek. No one could have predicted the weather that would affect the Texans game, but when we got word that the wind that plagued Ohio a few weeks ago was going to return, it took me off, Watson. Alex Smith did what was needed to hit value, the only thing we could have asked for was a touchdown pass or two.

The chalk running backs busted which hurt a lot of DFSers, myself included. Jones, Davis, and Duke Johnson were heavily owned in cash games and they fell very flat of expectations.

Robert Woods was not the focal point of the Rams pass-catchers, that award went to Josh Reynolds who lead the Rams with 8 catches on 10 targets for 94 yards. Jerry Jeudy hauled in 4 of 8 targets for 68 yards.

Both tight ends let us down this week. Ebron failed to bring in one of Big Ben’s four touchdown passes. Hooper’s game was affected by the high wind in Cleveland.

Week 11 Player Picks

QB

Justin Herbert

The rookie has played well this season and is looking to bounce back after what is arguably his worst passing performance of the season. After throwing for less than 200 yards on the day in Week 10, he’ll face a Jets defense that is coming off a bye but, was ripped for 5 passing touchdowns the last time they took the field.

Ben Roethlisberger

This week Roethlisberger will have the benefit of going against a defense that allows the third-most fantasy points to the quarterback position according to the Team Rise or Fall NFL Study Hub. He is coming off a 300-yard, four-touchdown performance this past Sunday.

RB

Dalvin Cook

Cook will face the woeful Cowboys defense on a short week of rest. Cook toted the rock 30 times on Monday night against the Bears and I fully expect that trend to continue against the Cowboys. The NFL Study Hub shows that the Cowboys are a bottom of the barrel run defense allowing seventh-most fantasy points to the running back position.

Zeke Elliot

It’s hard to imagine Zeke at his current salary on DraftKings, however, he’s probably a little over-priced in FanDuel. He will continue to lead his team in rushing attempts, but it is the targets that make him oh so valuable in PPR scoring leagues.

WR

Steelers WR

It’s hard to nail down just one of Big Ben’s targets as they clicked very well on Sunday. Diontae Johnson, JuJu, and Claypool all found their way to paydirt. Our NFL Study Hub shows that the Jaguars are in the bottom third in the NFL in allowing fantasy points to wide receivers.

Jakobi Meyers

Meyers seems to be clicking with Cam Newton over the last few weeks. Over the last three weeks, Meyers has been targeted 31 times according to the data in our NFL Study Hub. There is trust between him and Cam and, at his price point, I like the salary savings.

TE

Dallas Goedert

Goedert is filling in as the starting tight end now that Zach Ertz has been on IR. He was injured early in the game last week but returned to put up respectable numbers. His salary dropped on DraftKings but remained the same in FanDuel. The NFL Study Hub shows up that the Browns struggle covering tight ends allowing the 10^th most fantasy points to the position.

Logan Thomas

Thomas is the paydown option for me this week. He’ll be going against a Bengals team that allows the 4^th most points to the tight end position. Thomas also will have the benefit of playing with Captain Checkdown, Alex Smith, to pepper him with short shots.
