NFL Targets and Snaps

What are NFL targets?
Targets represent the number of times a player has had a pass thrown his way, regardless of whether a catch was made. Highly targeted players offer greater upside, especially in Point Per Reception (PPR) leagues, since each target is an opportunity to accumulate a reception, touchdown and receiving yards.

What are NFL Snap Counts?
Snap counts represent the total number of offensive plays a player participated in during a given week. All things equal, a higher snap count is preferable since it indicates there were more opportunities for the player to accumulate stats.
