NFL Tiered Rankings for DraftKings and FanDuel | Week 17 Player and DFS Strategy Notes

Welcome to the NFL Tiered Rankings for DraftKings and FanDuel for Week 17. Included next to the Cash Game and GPP Rankings are lightly written player and strategy notes. Much lighter than normal due to the fact that this slate is pure chaos. I did not say there are not edges though and I think I identified a few through pricing differences on both sites. In some instances, one player might be really low-ranked on one site but highly ranked on another. That’s entirely due to FanDuel or DraftKings adjusting price points heading into Week 17.

I won’t give away all the secrets but one that stands out is Alexander Mattison. He ended up much higher in the rankings on one site than the other. Irv Smith Jr. also ended up being in my personal Building Blocks (also on the website) to my lineups and will build around some type of Vikings passing attack with that 29.75 points implied team total. By doing that on one site and Mattison on the other, I am able to soak up potentially a lot of fantasy points while hedging my investments because I am targeting a certain game theory on both sites, albeit centered around the same offensive output.
