Rashaad Penny, RB $11,700 (DK), $12,500 (FD), $21 (Yahoo))
Penny finished the year off with at least 135 yards a score in four of the last five games and if he can pick up right where he left off then as I mentioned before the Seahawks could have a shot at winning this game to spoil Russ’s return to Seattle.Â
The Broncos were middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. This play may be risky as Seattle is a 6.5 point dog at home but the upside here is huge if the Seahawks can control the pace of the game.Â

Flex Plays
Javonte Williams, RB $10,200 (DK), $13,500 (FD), $27 (Yahoo))
As we know from our showdown lineup study, favorite running backs are what we want to targets. This price may be a little steep but if reports are true and we could start to see Javonte really take the lead in the backfield this year and no more 50/50 split with Melvin Gordon. If this game goes as expected we should see Javonte look to put the exclamation point on the game with a score or two to get his season off to a great start.Â
Depending on how ownership shakes out I think he makes for a great pivot play at CPT/MVP/SSTR to get some leverage over the hyped up Bronco passing game.Â
Travis Homer, RB $1,400 (DK), $7,500 (FD), $10 (Yahoo)
As of this writing, Kenneth Walker is questionable and if he were to miss Homer would be the RB2 for the Seahawks but more importantly he would see the passing down work as he is more of a pass catching back. If the Seahawks are down or getting blown out we could see a lot of Homer in garbage time in the 4th.Â
