Mike Williams, WR $13,500 (DK), $12,500 (FD), $21 (Yahoo))
While the Chargers got the win in Week 1, the offense struggled to get much going and Mike Williams was at the forefront of that with just two targets all game despite Keenan Allen going down with an injury early. In fact no Charger receiver had more than four targets.
With Keenan Allen looking to be out for this game, Mike Williams should bounce back this week and according to the Team Rise or Fall study hub he has the highest ceiling of any Charger besides Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler.
Flex Plays
Josh Palmer, WR $5,000 (DK), $7,000 (FD), $13 (Yahoo))
Continuing with the Chargers passing game with Keenan Allen likely out this will move Josh Palmer to WR2 for the Chargers. At nearly, min price on FanDuel and Yahoo Palmer makes for a great value play to be able to afford more studs in your lineups. On DraftKings, his price is fair and is a great last piece in your lineup.
Jerick McKinnon, RB $2,600 (DK), $6,500 (FD), $12 (Yahoo))
I should probably have listed all the backup tight ends as this is a showdown after all and it seems like they are always involved somehow in the winning lineups but I want to mention Jerrick McKinnon who can be like playing a backup tight end. McKinnon is the backup running back for the Chiefs and last week he saw more snaps than Clyde Edwards-Helaire that may have been due to the blowout however, all but one of carries/targets came when the starters were on the field. He had 4 carries and 4 targets in the passing game. All it takes is for one those to find their way into the end zone for him to pay off and end up in the optimal lineup.
That will do it for me, if you want to receive my entire player pool along with notes for this game and for each main slate be sure to join us at Team Rise or Fall!
