NFL Top DFS Picks for Panthers vs. Saints Monday Night Showdown

Welcome to the NFL Top DFS Picks for Panthers vs. Saints Monday Night Showdown! For each primetime game this season, I will be providing you with my favorite plays at the Captain, MVP, and Superstar positions as well as the flex position for DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo.

Captain/MVP/SuperStar Plays

Chris Olave, WR ($17,100 (DK), $15,500 (FD)

Not going to sugarcoat this, we have two ugly games tonight that both could play to under on their already low totals so I am going to focus attention in my showdown lineups on just raw points.

For the Saints that starts with Chris Olave. Coming off a 10-target, 8-catch, 112-yard game in week 1 we know the volume is going to be there for him. This will be the Panthers’ first test as the Falcons are a run-first team and now turn around and face another division opponent who without Alvin Kamara will be looking to move the ball down the field through the air. I think we just look for raw scoring points here and go the chalky route with Olave at CPT tonight.

Jamaal Williams, RB ($9300 (DK), $14,000 (FD)

If you don’t want to go the chalky route, then focusing on the Saints run game may be the way to go. Last week the Panthers gave up 130 yards on the ground to the Falcons and each back averaged over 5 yards a carry. The volume will be there for Jamaal each week until Kamara is back and this may be the way to go tonight especially if he can find the end zone.

Flex Plays

Miles Sanders, RB ($8,600 (DK), $13,500 (FD)

With a rookie QB in Bryce Young under center, the Panthers will look to take the pressure off him as much as possible which means a heavy dose of a run attack, and they will look get him going with short passes. Which typically means targets for the RB and the TEs. In week 1, Miles Sanders, had 18 carries, and 6 targets in the passing game. Assuming the volume continues to be there, loading up on the running games tonight for both team may be the way to go.

That will do it for me, if you want to receive my entire player pool along with notes for this game and for each main slate be sure to join us at Team Rise or Fall!
