NFL Top Stacks for Draftkings and Fanduel Week 1

nfl top stacks

Hello everyone, welcome to the NFL TOP STACKS article here at TeamRiseOrFall.com Each week I will dive into a few teams that I think will be some of the best stacks of the week.

My goal here will be to narrow down the full slate of teams to a manageable pool we can use and gain an edge vs the field in Large Field Tournaments.

We can also use pieces of these stacks in single entry tourneys, small league play, and even some cash game contests.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to check out the article 🤟❤💯

We have recently added Individual Sport memberships to our offerings here at Rise or Fall. If you would like to subscribe for an NFL Monthly or NFL Weekly without access to any of the other sports you now have that option.

All memberships come with Discord Access, however, only the Monthly All Access for $39.99 comes with the $20 monthly credit to Fantasy Cruncher

NFL Top Draftkings Stacks Week 1

We have a ton of options to target this week for NFL Week 1. As you probably know, the DFS Sites release their salaries a few weeks early prior to Week 1, so it’s usually easier this week to play pretty much “whoever you want”.

With that being said, if you look above, you’ll see our Top 5 projected QB+REC+OppREC stacks this week. I believe the QB plus REC plus a bring back REC from the other team is the most popular stack type so we have that set as our default on our NFL STACKS TOOL

These projections and rankings will probably change as we get closer to kickoff on Sunday, so keep an eye on injury news and starting lineups throughout the week before you make any final decisions. If you have any questions hit me up in the ROF VIP Discord chat and tag me @CeeGee and we can chat one-on-one about your process. If you prefer, I’m also easy to find on Twitter @CeeGeeDFS

Chargers vs Raiders

This game has the 2nd highest total on the slate at 52. The Chargers line is 27.75 while the Raiders line is 24.25. The spread is currently only -3.5 in favor of the Chargers so this one has all the makings of a shootout

Last season the Chargers had a 63/37 Pass/Run ratio and against a Raiders defense that allowed 25.8 points per game last year I’m expecting them to be airing it out in this one.

So many options this week and this game ranks near the top for me. We can stack up both sides pretty easily and the “bring back options” are easy to fit also. If you look above you will see our #1 projected stack currently is the Chargers and the Raiders. Justin Herbert plus Keenan Allen and a bring back of Devante Adams. Surprisingly, this stack doesn’t appear to be one of the most popular, if you look at the “Own%” you can see several stacks ranked lower are projected to be higher owned than this one.

When I set my groups this week, I’ll be creating a Justin Herbert and Derek Carr group so I will ensure I get plenty of exposure to this game.

Group Example in Fantasy Cruncher

In the above image you will see a simple group I set up for Justin Herbert. This group says “if” Justin Herbert is used, the lineup must have 1 or 2 of the players below. You see i have Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Josh Palmer and Gerald Everett in the group. I like using the – 1 or 2 – option instead of forcing 2 from the same time, as I feel like this gives the optimizer a little more freedom and is less restrictive overall.

The Chargers Offense is built around the 3 headed monster of Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. If we look at the game that ended the Chargers season last year, we’ll see Ekeler had 12 targets, Allen had 8 targets and Williams had 17 targets in that game. I’m expecting 30+ or so targets in the passing game for these 3 guys this week

In the above image you will see another simple group I set up for Justin Herbert. This group says “if” Justin Herbert is used, the lineup must have at least 1 of the players below. For this weeks matchup, I have included Raiders pass catchers only and I left Josh Jacobs off the list.

By setting up a “bring back” option from the opposing team with our Justin Herbert stacks, we’re banking on the idea of this game becoming a back and forth, pin pong style game where each team is putting up points. If that happens, we want as much exposure to that scenario as we can get

ARE YOU FEELING LUCKY?… PUNK…

What are the odds of this game becoming one of those legendary SHOOTOUTS we remember for years to come? Maybe, 5% or so right? With that in mind, we could go very heavy on this game, and you could force 3 Chargers to be paired with Herbert along with 2 bring back options from the Raiders. It’s a risky strategy, and most of the time it doesn’t work, however, it can pay off in a big way if you guess correctly and have a little luck on your side on Sunday

In Week 9 of 2021 I used a SEA+TB 3+1 Stack along with 2 secondary stacks, Bell+Williams from the NYJ-MIA game, and a very common RB+DEF stack with CMC and Carolina Defense to round out the lineup.

Saints @ Falcons

It’s Week 1 and here we are again considering Jameis Winston. Stop me if you’ve heard this before but Jameis has a great matchup this week vs the Atlanta Falcons. The biggest problem here may be the fact that Atlanta may not be able to keep this one close as this game only has a 42.5 total and the Falcons are only projected to score 18.5 points.

That being said, I still want to target a few of these Saints playmakers with Jameis Winston this week, just in case this game can blow up in the dome.

Last year the Falcons Defense was awful allowing 27 points per game, 232 pass yards and 131 rush yards per game. The Saints Offense last year had a pretty even 51.5% pass vs 48.5% run ratio.

Group Options:

Jameis Winston + Michael Thomas or Jarvis Landry or Alvin Kamara

Bring back with Cordarrelle Patterson or Kyle Pitts
