Three Player Stack by Value
In the Team Rise or Fall NFL Top Stacks tool this week the Houston Texans present the best value three-player stack. The tool has identified Deshaun Watson, Brandin Cooks, and Randall Cobb as the player we want to stack.
Our NFL Study Hub projects Deshaun Watson as a top-four scoring quarterback. Cooks has seen an increase in targets over the last four weeks. He has averaged more targets per game than Will Fuller in this timeframe. Randall Cobb will round out the stack. Cobb is averaging six targets per game over the last four weeks and provides a nice salary relief.
If we are going to run this stack back I would recommend looking at Patriots receiver Jakobi Meyers.
Three Player Game Stack by Projection
As I reference back to our NFL Top Stacks tool, this highly projected stack will look at the Los Angeles Charger duo of Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen with a runback of Jamison Crowder.
Our NFL Study Hub projects Herbert as a top 3 scoring quarterback. As far as Keenen Allen is concerned, he follows suit as a top 3 projected receiver on the main slate. Allen is averaging double-digit targets over the last four weeks, minus the aberration last week against a tough Dolphins defense.
We’re running back the Chargers stack with Jamison Crowder. After starting the year with multiple double-digit target games, he got injured and hasn’t seemed to find his grove with a revolving door of Sam Darnold and Joe Flacco at quarterback. Crowder’s price is a bit high for my liking but, that should keep ownership numbers down.

Four Player Game Stack by Rating
The final stack we’re going to look at is our four-player game stack by rating. The rating produced by our NFL Study Hub is like a secret recipe – don’t ask what goes into it, just enjoy it and know that it’s good. This game stack will look to the Bengals core of Joe Burrow, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and running back with Terry McLaurin.
Burrow isn’t necessarily the highest projected quarterback in our NFL Study Hub but the salary savings at $5.5k allows up to spend up in other areas. Boyd and Higgins account for 42.5% of the Bengals targets.
We’ll run it back with Terry McLaurin who has been excellent this season even with the carousel of quarterbacks Washington has run out. McLaurin is averaging over 9 targets a game over the last four weeks accounting for a 24.78% target market share.
