NFL Week 7 GPP Picks for DraftKings

Hello and welcome to the Team Rise or Fall Week 7 GPP picks for DraftKings! Tournament plays are going to differ from typical cash games plays. Weβre looking for correlation, stacking our quarterback with one or two of his pass-catchers and even having a secondary stack to run it back.
Quarterback
Aaron RodgersΒ
Rodgers is looking to bounce back after a poor performance last week against the Buccaneers in which he put up a measly 5.8 DK points. The Team Rise or Fall Study Hub projects Rodgers as a top 5 Quarterback this week. I think recency bias will have people off Rodgers, however, an implied team total of 30 points should have him on your radar.
Kyler MurrayΒ
Kyler is coming off a poor performance Monday night where he only completed 9 passes, yet he still managed to put 28.90 DK points. Knowing that he is such a threat on the ground it is feasible to run Murray naked (without any of his receivers). He projects as the second-highest scoring quarterback in the Study Hub. It doesnβt hurt that heβs going up against a defense that gives up the second-most fantasy points to the position.
Running Back
Kenyan DrakeΒ
Drake just keeps on making his way into my write-ups. He had a decent game heading into the closing moments of the Monday night game then he broke a 69-yard touchdown run. That run put him well over 100 yards and two touchdowns on the day. Our Study Hub shows heβs averaging nearly 18 touches a game over the last four weeks.
Joe Mixon
Mixon has been a workhorse over the last four weeks. According to the Study Hub, heβs averaging 25 touches (carries and receptions) during that time frame. The Browns defense is middle of the pack in allowing fantasy points to Running Backs. If you think this trend continues, Mixon is an excellent GPP option.
JOE MIXON IS OUT – Gio Bernard will start for him and be one of the top value plays on the slate
Wide Receiver
Davante AdamsΒ
As I mentioned in my introduction, I want to make sure I have correlation in my tournament lineups and that is exactly what Adams provides. He is Rodgers’ go-to option. Our Study Hub projects Adams to be the slateβs highest-scoring receiver. He is responsible for 29.41% of the Packers’ target share. It should also be noted that the Texans are middle of the pack in allowing fantasy points to Wide Receivers.
DeAndre Hopkins
If Iβm running Kyler in lineups, Iβm stacking him with Hopkins. Prior to the 4th quarter on Monday night, Hopkins only had one catch for 13 yards. Murray hit him on a cross route late in the game that almost went for a 71-yard touchdown. If he wasnβt caught it would have changed his stat line entirely. He projects to be the second-highest scoring receiver and has a favorable matchup against a Seahawk second that gives up the most points to Wide Receivers.
Tight End
Robert TonyanΒ
Tonyan projects as a top 5 tight end this week in the Study Hub projections, but even better is that the trio of Rodgers, Adams, and Tonyan rank as a top-four three-player stack in the Rise or Fall NFL Top Stacks tool. Tonyan makes up about 11% of the Packerβs target share but gets those key red-zone targets.
