Starting off with the highest projected player, we have Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He’s taking on the Florida Panthers and is in a great spot to put up big numbers. Next up, we have Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers. He’s taking on the Seattle Kraken and is also in a great spot to put up big numbers. McDavid is the best player in the league and is capable of taking over a game, he’s skating on the top line and top power-play unit, and is projected to score 18.54 DraftKings points. That gives him a solid value of 1.93, meaning he’s expected to return almost 2 times his salary in value.
McDavid also has a very high ceiling, and he’s in a prime spot to take advantage of the Kraken, who are ranked 28th in the league in goals against per game.

Roman Josi of the Nashville Predators is another player worth considering. He’s taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets and is in a great spot to put up big numbers. Josi is one of the best defensemen in the league and is capable of taking over a game, he’s skating on the top line and top power-play unit, and is projected to score 16.88 DraftKings points.
That gives him a solid value of 1.94, meaning he’s expected to return almost 2 times his salary in value. Josi also has a very high ceiling, and he’s in a prime spot to take advantage of the Blue Jackets, who are ranked 29th in the league in goals against per game.
Tage Thompson of the Buffalo Sabres is another player worth considering. He’s taking on the Chicago Blackhawks and is in a great spot to put up big numbers. Thompson is skating on the top line and top power-play unit, and is projected to score 16.69 DraftKings points.
That gives him a solid value of 1.83, meaning he’s expected to return almost 2 times his salary in value. Thompson also has a very high ceiling, and he’s in a prime spot to take advantage of the Blackhawks, who have been struggling defensively this season.
Finally, we have Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers. He’s taking on the Seattle Kraken and is in a great spot to put up big numbers. That gives him a solid value of 2.07, meaning he’s expected to return over 2 times his salary in value.
Draisaitl also has a very high ceiling, and he’s in a prime spot to take advantage of the Kraken, who are ranked 28th in the league in goals against per game.
