Rashod Bateman Is a Value Pick

You read that right! Rashod Bateman is indeed a value pick, so far in the early stages of Best Ball draft season. He’ll likely remain somewhat of a value in DFS for a while too, while he builds up points.

I’m seeing Bateman go far later in draft rounds than I would have ever expected. With the WR room of the Ravens opening up, Bateman is really the only receiver poised to take over a role left vacant by Marquise Brown, who was traded to the Arizona Cardinals earlier this off-season.

Compared to last season, there’s really nowhere to go but UP for the young wide receiver, which makes it more difficult for me to understand why Rashod Bateman is a value pick. His current ADP within Underdog Best Ball is 54.5.

How Much WR Target Share is Available?

I’ll tell you just how much… without Sammy Watkins or Marquise Brown… 32% of the Raven’s WR target share is available for the taking. And Bateman has the hands for it.

Despite a fairly quiet year last season, in his final 4 games, Bateman commanded 80% of the snap share. That made those last 4 games the largest playing-time games of his year.

“We think he’s going to make a big, big jump this year in his second year, and we’re very excited for his future.”, says GM Eric DeCosta.
