Acceptance is key. Acceptance is also a positive attitude. It all boils down to your definition of the word acceptance. In the New Oxford dictionary, it reads as follows, “the action or process of being received as adequate or suitable.”
In another way and/or opinion in support group meetings it reads as follows, “Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation “some fact of my life” unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.”
Regardless of your personal beliefs and methods I firmly believe acceptance is more than just a common word floating around in the universe. It is a mindset and attitude we gain during a prolonged period of self-reflection and self-care. To relinquish power and agree that fighting the universe is a losing battle we gain peace, calmness, and a positive long-term outlook.

Over the years the Toronto Maple Leafs have literally made it a habit of choking away playoff series. All that would be forgiven tonight if win and eliminate the back-to-back Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning. Unfortunately, I am not expecting that to happen. The grit, edge, and experience Tampa has gained over the years will not just up and disappear tonight in Game 6. Sorry Toronto fans!
Recent betting trends always tell us a story and tonight is no different. Tampa is 6-4 in their last 10 games. While the over is 8-2 in the Lightning’s last 10 games. On the flip side, Toronto is 6-4 in their last 10 games. While the over is 7-3 in the Maple Leaf’s last 10 games. One team has won the Cup in back-to-back seasons while the other team has embarrassingly folded on pressure time and time again. I am betting on Tampa to win, at home, tonight and force a Game 7 in Toronto on Saturday.

The Blues head home tonight as they look to bounce the Minnesota Wild from the playoffs! St. Louis defeated the Wild, in Minnesota, on Tuesday with a 5-2 final. Vlad did his usual superstar thing scoring three goals in the win.
St. Louis has found another gear and it looks grim for the Wild. Minnesota is only 5-16 in their last 21 games against the Blues. Minnesota is also a measly 1-8 in their last 9 games in St. Louis. Sorry Wild fans but it is not looking good.
Stack up the Blues, bet their ML(-111), and watch them advance as they win by a final score of 5-2!

If you are still playing NHL DFS then you and I are cut from the same cloth. If you are currently reading Hot Pucking Stacks then I assume you are absolutely nuts, just like me. So, I feel comfortable telling you that the Los Angeles Kings will win at home tonight and slay the monster that is the Edmonton Oilers! Momentum in the Stanley Cup Playoffs cannot be ignored, and the Kings are running hot! Led by first-line winger Anze Kempe as he scored twice in Game 5 and notched an assist.
All the nonsense about the Oilers being so dominant on offense this year is useless now as they face elimination against the Kings. It is always McDavid this, Draisaitl that but the odds are not in their favor now. The Kings are 8-3 straight up in their last 11 games. Los Angeles is also 4-1 straight up in their last 5 games at home. Los Angeles is not really thought of as a big ice hockey hotbed but tonight the fans will be out of control supportive.
Bet the Kings ML(+116), stack their first line, and watch as they slay the mighty Oilers by a final score of 4-3!
