Everyone is entitled to one good scare. Granted that was said by Haddonfield sheriff Leigh Brackett but the idea still applies today, Friday the 13th! Expect the unexpected. Expect weirdness to ensue.
Hate to get ahead of myself but it looks as though this coming weekend is going to be loaded with Game 7s! There are three of them scheduled for tomorrow, May 14th. While I fully expect Dallas and Washington to win and give us two more beautiful Game 7s on Sunday.

The loss of Crosby for this pivotal 6 hurts but I see this as an opportunity for a few Penguin skaters. Evgeni Malkin for one will be bumped up onto the first line. The combo of Rust with Guentzel and Malkin in the middle should be bad news for the Rangers!
When we get down and dirty in each playoff series, I find it very wise to pay attention to the betting trends! Check these out!

Every part of my being wants to stack up the Florida Panthers tonight. Yet, that seems too good to be true and too easy. Once the NHL Playoffs are rolling sometimes, we must suspend belief and think outside the box. Betting trends help us do that but also a mix of going in the opposite direction of our thought process.
I have spent the last few months gushing over the Panthers and it was shocking to see them start this series so slow. Now, they have won two in a row while the Capitals are reeling. The total has gone under in 4 of the Cap’s last 6 games. I think that Benefits Washington tonight at home. I honestly do not think they have the firepower to match up with the Panthers.
Like most comic book movies when all hope is lost, and it looks to be game over the opposing end shows up in a strong and big way. Bet the under 6.5 goals and stack up Washington’s first line as they win by a final score of 4-2, to force a Game 7!

This series has been shockingly entertaining! When the regular season ended the Flames were rolling and I personally thought the Stars had no chance. Yet, here we are on the cusp of Game 6, in Dallas, as we await puck drop at 9:30p EST.
When I sat down to dig into the last ten games from these two teams, they were both eerily similar. The under is 5-4-3- in Calgary’s last 10 games. The under is 5-4-1 in Dallas’ last 10 games. From a betting trend perspective, the Flames are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. While the Stars are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games. So, to me, this game is literally a toss-up. Where can we find the tiniest little edge or sway us in the right direction? Who is the home team! That is my move.
The Flames are 2-4 against the spread in their last 6 road games while Dallas is 5-2 straight up in their last 7 games. Stack up the Star’s first line as they win by a final score of 4-1, to force another Game 7!
