Stanley Cup Playoff Hot Pucking Stacks!

For as long as I can remember I have been focused on being effective, not impressive. That may sound kind of snotty, but I promise you it is not. With an everyday responsibility of daily fantasy sports content, I can only do so much.

As usual, there are four games tonight. One is an elimination game while the other three are getting good. Here are three stacks to help us get into the winning column!

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS L1 vs. New York Rangers 7p EST

Sidney Crosby L1 & PP1(FD-$8,800)(DK-$7,100)
Bryan Rust L1 & PP1(FD-$7,400)(DK-$5,500)
Jake Guentzel L1 & PP1(FD-$8,400)(DK-$7,000)

The Penguins are looking to put a stranglehold on the Rangers tonight by going up 3 games to 1 in this series. I like Pittsburgh’s chances tonight as New York has lost five of their last seven. In addition to the Rangers dropping each of their last four following a game in which their opponent has scored five or more goals.

First-line winger Jake Guentzel is leading the Pens in playoffs goals with four. While Evan Rodrigues and Jeff Carter each have two making them excellent secondary pieces to use tonight. First-line center, and captain, Sidney Crosby also has a team-high five assists. In addition, Sid the Kid also led his team in points(6).

The over has cashed in 5 of New York’s last 6 games. The Penguins are 5-1 in their last 6 games at home. While the over has also cashed in each of Pittsburgh’s last 4 contests.

Betting the over is the move here. Also, the Penguins should go nuts at home tonight as they win by a final score of 6-2!

WASHINGTONG CAPITALS L1 vs. Florida Panthers 7p EST

Evgeny Kuznetsov L1 & PP1(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,000)
Alexander Ovechkin L1 & PP1(FD-$9,700)(DK-$7,500)
TJ Oshie L1 & PP1(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,400)

The Washington Capital went OFF against the Panthers on Saturday! Six different Caps scored in that one while Florida goalie Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 25 out of 30 shots faced. Playoff hockey is a different beast and I know these are professional players, but Bob’s confidence may have taken a hit.

Looking at some recent betting trends I have assumed a clearer picture for tonight’s game. The total has gone over in 5 of the Panther’s last 5 games when playing on the road against Washington. The total has gone over in 5 of the Cap’s last 5 games when playing at home against Florida.

We should expect a much closer game tonight, but the over is as sure as it gets! In the end, Washington wins by a final score of 5-4!

COLORADO AVALANCHE L1 at Nashville Predators 9:30p EST

Nathan MacKinnon L1 & PP1(FD-$9,200)
Mikko Rantanen L1 & PP1(FD-$7,100)
Valeri Nichuskin L2 & PP2(FD-$5,100)

I will keep this one short and sweet, the Colorado Avalanche has absolutely wailed on the Preds this series. Aside from the 2-1 overtime final in Game 2 the Avs have scored 14 total goals in the other two games. Why get cute? Stack up their first line as Nashville is swept out of the playoffs. I am more worried about the other opposing teams as Colorado advances throughout these playoffs. Guess we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

The Avalanche will put the Preds out of their misery tonight and win by a final score of 6-1.

That is, it! Good luck tonight as the Stanley Cup Playoffs take flight!
