Hello and happy Monday! Summer has just started, and baseball is in full swing! As the season starts to take shape hang here and we can dissect each slate together!
Today’s baseball schedule gives us a ten-game Main slate locking at 7:05p. DraftKings and Yahoo! have the exact lock times and games included! Awesome!

WSH v ATL 7:05p OF Lane Thomas(FD-$2,900)(DK-$3,000)(Y!-$16)
Lane is starting to come into his own. Good players on bad teams rarely get the kudos they deserve but Thomas has been batting leading leadoff. With Soto, Bell, and Nelson Cruz all in the lineup, I like his chances to wreak havoc on the basepaths! Per the Rise or Fall Study Hub Lane’s ownership percentage is at 2.7% on Fanduel and 4.7% on Draftkings. Considering his hot streak, 15-39(.384 BA), and lowly price tag you could do worse than Thomas tonight.
CWS at DET 7:10p 3B Jake Burger(FD-$3,500)(DK-$4,000)(Y!-$19)
I have been thinking about Mr. Burgers’ blurb since last night. What witty and funny sentence can I put together? Most were corny and crass so let’s leave it be. As it stands now Jake is as hot as it gets! In the last two weeks, Jake has accumulated five doubles, ten runs, nine RBI, and four bombs! If we look back to the last two teams to have played the Tigers, the Blue Jays, and New York Yankees it is only right we expect the Sox to tee off. His rating on the ROF Study Hub sits at 65.21 for FD and 64.29 on DK. His ownership percentage looks to be a slighter higher on DK than FD but it’s really a matter of 1.5%.
TOR v BAL 7:07p C Gabriel Moreno(FD-$2,000)(DK-$2,200)(Y!-$7)
Why can’t all of us seasonal fantasy baseball players get in on the fun with Gabe in DFS formats? Let’s cross our fingers and hope the kid gets a start tonight. Moreno was literally just called up on Saturday, June 11th. Through 7 ABs he has collected just one hit, scored a run, and walked once. When it comes to large pool GPPs I find it wise to be early rather than late. The kid is the type of play that could send our lines to the moon at only 0.2% ownership on FD and a minuscule 2.4% on DK. Make sure you double-check the Toronto lineup closer to lock. Gabriel Moreno is not a lock to start tonight.
MIN at SEA 10:10p 1B/3B Jose Miranda(FD-$2,500)(DK-$2,900)(Y!-$13)
A month or two ago it looked as if Miranda and HOU SS Jeremy Pena were on the same path and trajectory of success and counting stats. While Pena has continued smashing Jose hit the skids. However, over the last ten games, Jose has put together a .314/.333/.571 line with five extra-base hits. As his price tags are next to nothing, he is worth the risk tonight against a lame Chris Flexen.

ARZ v CIN 9:40p C/OF Dalton Varsho(FD-$3,000)(DK-$4,300)(Y!-$16)
In his last five games, Dalton has rattled off four hits, two doubles, four RBI, three runs, and one home run. The Diamondbacks are still trying to work out the kinks of the best possible lineup, but Varsho is no danger of seeing the bench. After checking in with the Rise or Fall Study Hub I find his 4.1% ownership on FD and 4.7% ownership percentage on DK interesting. It’s like Dalton is stuck toeing the line between being an afterthought or exploding into the mainstream.
ARZ v CIN 9:40p 1B Christian Walker(FD-$3,100)(DK-$3,600)(Y!-$17)
Last Wednesday, June 8th Walker had one heck of a game then nothing until last night when he went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double, three RBI, and score a run. If we play the law of averages the Christian shouldn’t go nuts again until Friday. Nope, tonight is tonight, again. Mike Minor is taking the mound for the Reds tonight. Mike cannot keep the ball in the park as he has given up five bombs in only 8 1/3 IP. Also, the ROF Study Hub has Walker as a juicy play based on his rating of 71.19 on FD and 70 on DK. Lock and load Walker! Bombs away!
