Ok, ok I get it. The only reason I mentioned this is because the state of Michigan and Detroit could hit up to 105 degrees today on the thermometer. Which is all well good but as a lifelong Michigander we get like two or three months of nice hot weather.

My point to all this is the fact the weather is getting HOT! The baseballs are about to start flying! Fingers cross the guys in today’s article go nuts! Let’s dig in! Don’t miss out on my favorite stack of the day!

Today’s baseball schedule gives us a fifteen All-Day slate. FanDuel’s Main slate is nine games, and the first pitch is at 7:05p. DraftKings Main is also nine games locking at 7:05p. While Yahoo! is ten games and locks early at 4:10p.

TOR v BAL 7:07p 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr.(FD-$3,800)(DK-$5,500)(Y!-$21)

Vlad has become one of the best bats in baseball, that much we do know. However, in his last 19 games, Vlad has produced a monstrous slash line of .341 OBP, .571 SLG, and .960 OPS. When we dig just a little deeper you will be excited to know how much he smashes LHP. Baltimore is giving the ball to LHP Bruce Zimmermann tonight, not good. Guerrero Jr. against LHP has produced .400 OBP, .586 SLG, and a .986 OPS. Expect 15+ percent ownership tonight but don’t waste time. Roster Vlad and move on.

COL v CLE 8:40p 1B CJ Cron(FD-$3,900)(DK-$4,600)(Y!-$19)

Fading or stacking Coors Field is a strategy all its own. Last night nothing stood out to me. Tonight, it is full steam ahead. The run lines and game totals are still growing as I write this blurb! The over/under opened around 10/10.5 and now it sits at an even 12! Over 12(-104) and Under 12(-118) is where we are at now. CJ Cron has beautiful splits and that’s what I am after at here, with CJ smashing a .894 OPS against lefties and a 1.035 OPS at home. The only mild issue here is the fact stacking the Rockies and Cron is no secret tonight. Per the Rise or Fall Study Hub, he is currently at 10.% ownership of FanDuel and 13.9% on DraftKings. Tonight is one of those stacks up some chalk and fills the gaps up in another way. Don’t fade Cron this evening!

COL v CLE 8:40p 2B/SS Brendan Rodgers(FD-$3,100)(DK-$4,400)(Y!-$20)

LHP Konnor Pilkington takes the mound tonight for Cleveland and if we look back to his Triple-A numbers he had a 5.02 ERA and 1.63 WHIP. Since being called up to the big leagues he hasn’t been much better. Owning a 5.24 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. Rodgers started the season horrendously but has been outstanding the last month! Since May 1st Rodgers owns a .318 AVG, .510 SLG, and .862 OPS. But wait, there’s more! B-Rod has also collected a .578 SLG and .923 OPS against left-handed pitching. Looking at the ROF Study Hub Rodgers has A’s on both, FD & DK’s value tiers!

CLE at COL 8:40p 3B Jose Ramirez(FD-$4,600)(DK-$6,000)(Y!-$28)

“Holy flipping smokes!” That was my initial reaction after digging into J-Ram’s current statistics. The guy takes less money to stay in Cleveland and turns around to absolutely STUFF box scores daily! Heading into tonight’s game J-Ram other worldly owning a 296 AVG, .394 OBP, .643 SLG, and 1.037 OPS. In addition, 18 doubles, 16 homers, 62 RBI, and 10 steals. That is as good as it gets in baseball. Even if you take out the fact Cleveland is playing in Coors tonight opposing LHP Austin Gomber has a 6.17 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. What is the record for most home runs in one game? J-Ram might double it.

ATL at WSH 7:05p 2B/3B/SS Orlando Arcia(FD-$2,100)(DK-$2,000)(Y!-$11)

Tough break for the Braves and star second baseman Ozzie Albies. However, injuries have always been a part of professional sports. That was the entire idea of DFS 10+ years ago. You are not married to one team, player, or situation. Orlando went 2-for-4 with a home run last night and has a .327 AVG through 18 games this season. His price tag in all formats is as sweet as it gets for the projected production. His 5 or 6 percent ownership is all well and good.

BOS at OAK 7:10p C/OF Christian Bethancourt(FD-$2,100)(DK-$3,300)(Y!-$16)

Christian is currently rolling with a five-game hitting streak. Consisting of three with multi-hit games, a .268 average, four bombs, 15 RBI, and 20 runs in 131 total plate appearances. One thing that stuck out to me is Bethancourt 46.8% hard-hit rate. He has just been making solid contact and is in a very favorable match-up! I find him to be in a sweet spot on all formats but he is really moving the needle on FanDuel at only 2.6% ownership.
