The importance our society places on material possessions is astounding. Who am I to judge how you see the world or what you hold dear? I am merely a daily fantasy sportswriter. Personally, I prefer to chase experiences and memories.
I love the idea of daydreaming or romanticizing an idea of a long weekend getaway! As of right now, I spend most of my time thinking about the next MLB DFS slate. Main, Express, and After Hours! Might seem like a sad existence to you but it brings me excitement! Whatever it takes to get through the day!

There are seven games on the Main slate tonight but two of them have a very high probability of being rained out. Seattle at Baltimore and Los Angeles at New York. So, realistically we could get a five-game Main slate! Plenty of money to grab tonight! Let’s dig in!
NYM OF Starling Marte(FD-$3,900)(DK-$5,100)(Y!-$17)
The Mets have been playing some outstanding baseball. While the LA Dodgers were just swept, at home, by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Enter Mr. Marte who has hit a bomb in back-to-back games! I like his chances to make it three straight tonight in LA. Per the Rise or Fall Study Hub Starling is projected around 12.37 points at around 4.2% ownership on Fanduel. When it comes to DraftKings his value tier is what sticks out while his wOBA against Dodger pitcher Tony Gonsolin sits at .368 which is considered elite. Stack him up along with any other Mets you see fit!
SEA OF Jesse Winker(FD-$2,600)(DK-$3,800)(Y!-$15)
Seattle has a projected a run implied total of about 4.8 runs against Baltimore and their pitcher Jordan Lyles. While this game has a high probability of being rained out Jesse is just too good to pass up for a quick mention. Lyles has had troubles against left-handed bats for quite some time. Lyles allows .382 wOBA to lefties while Winker has a career .387 wOBA against right-handed pitchers. As silly as it sounds even with the threat of rain, I would still consider using Jesse even if we only get two at-bats from him. This match-up is that sweet! Be mindful that Winker is not a secret tonight seeing how his ownership on FD is now at 18% and 15.7% on DK. So, we can play this one of two ways. First, fade him and don’t think twice while we watch other entries sink due to a rainout. Second, sprinkle Jesse in a line or two and hope he hammers the ball once or twice before they call it! The choice is yours!
MIL 3B/SS Luis Urias(FD-$3,400)(DK-$4,300)(Y!-$15)
Luis got the day off yesterday but should be back in the starting lineup tonight. The manager gave him a night off after going 0-for-6 in his last two games following a five-game hitting streak. The Padres have lost three straight games and it’s not going to get any better tonight in Milwaukee against Adrian Houser. I have Urias projected to bat 2nd tonight in front of Christian Yelich. Urias has projected around 12.50 fantasy points tonight and sub-5% ownership.
ATL 3B Austin Riley(FD-$4,200)(DK-$4,700)(Y!-$21)
The Atlanta Braves and Austin Riley are no secret tonight in Coors! Austin Gomber is taking the mound for the Rockies and these two have never faced each other! Most times that favors the pitcher but not tonight in Colorado. Looking at the Rise or Fall Study Hub, Riley is projected at a massive 57.75% hard-contact rate. We should start every MLB DFS line tonight with Austin Riley. On Draftkings his ownership percentage is an astounding 32.4% while only 18.7% on Fanduel. Whether you’re playing in cash games or GPP Austin Riley is a must-own tonight!

CHC 2B/OF Christopher Morel(FD-$3,300)(DK-$3,700)(Y!-$20)
This kid has burst on the scene for the Cubs and hasn’t looked back! The only bummer is the fact most of these DFS formats have caught up in terms of pricing. Morel is currently hitting .268 with two bombs and a juicy .837 OPS. His projected wOBA + ISO against Cardinals pitcher Matthew Liberatore sits around .660 and his hard-hit rate should be off the charts. When we talk ownership percentages, I would prefer him on Fanduel(3.1%) rather than Draftkings(6.5%).
