Today’s overall baseball schedule gives us 15 games! FanDuel’s Main slate is ten games, and the first pitch is at 7:05p. DraftKings Main is ten games and locks at 7:05p. While Yahoo! main is also ten games and locks at 7:05p. Let’s dig into some of my favorite plays for Friday, July 1st, shall we?

DET vs. KC 7:10p OF Riley Greene(FD-$2,600)(DK-$2,400)(Y!-$14) possible weather issues

I have been chomping at the bit to mention the Tigers. Any Tiger, just please do something to warrant a mention in the article. The wait is over! Here we are with blue-chip prospect Riley Greene! Kids’ defense has been out of this world. Too bad defensive stats and putouts aren’t scored as DFS points! The power numbers will come! Why not start tonight?

ARZ at COL 8:10p OF David Peralta(FD-$2,500)(DK-$3,700)(Y!-$16)

Sometimes we fade Coors. Sometimes we stack at Coors. Tonight is a stack Coors Field day! Rockies pitcher Antonio Senzatela has been pretty good with giving up home runs but opposing batters have hit him hard. Senzatela prefers to pitch to contact and trust his defense. David Peralta’s exit velocity is at 91.1 MPH while his hard-hit rate is around 45.3%. Both qualify as great. Per the Rise or Fall Study Hub, David is an A+ value and his projection tier is also an A. Roster Peralta and watch him hit a bomb for the 5th spot!

SEA vs. OAK 10:10p 2B/3B Abraham Toro(FD-$2,100)(DK-$3,400)(Y!-$7)

Just a reminder that we are digging deep tonight. Toro’s batting average is only at .186 but he has reached base safely in five straight games. Also, 17 of his 36 hits this season have gone for extra bases. Abe is projected to bat 5th tonight after the likes of J-Rod, Winker, and Suarez. One extra-base hit could yield a pair of RBIs! After a quick glance at the Study Hub, Toro’s ownership percentages are next to nothing! Only 1.3% on FD and 1.2% on DK.

SEA vs. OAK 10:10p 1B/OF Dylan Moore(FD-$2,300)(DK-$2,900)(Y!-$10)

Last night, June 30th, Dylan hit a two-run bomb after a prolonged slump at the plate. Another lesser know fact is Moore’s base-stealing abilities. He has attempted 13 times and has been successful 10 of those times. There is literally nothing to lose by tossing Moore in our lines tonight. Dylan loves that up in the zone heat, where OAK SP James Kaprielian throws his 4-seam fastball 53.6% of the time. From slump to streak for Dylan Moore tonight!

NYM vs. TEX 7:10p 1B Pete Alonso(FD-$4,000)(DK-$5,600)(Y!-$22)

Pete! The Polar Bear has cranked out 7 hits, 1 double, 3 bombs, 5 RBI, 3 BB, and 3 RBI in his last 7 games. Not exactly lighting the world on fire but it establishes a pattern of productivity. As stated in my daily stack video, I have a feeling the Mets just blast Glen Otto and the Rangers. After taking a closer look at Alonso’s analytics I can safely say Pete is a sure thing tonight. He has a 45.9% hard-hit rate, .391xwOBA, and his xSLG sits at .582. As the day progresses, I am hoping folks just glance right over the Mets. So far so good to see how Pete’s ownership percentages at below 2% on both FD and DK.
