It is Friday! The weekend is upon us! However, not before we study and smash tonight’s MLB DFS slate. I have always been happy to share my thoughts and ideas with you! I take great pride in it! So, thank you for all the love and trust over the years!

Tonight, I have a sneakier around the chalk approach by using some of the chalk. Sounds weird right? Trust me, keep reading and it’ll make sense! Let’s get it!

Today’s overall baseball schedule gives us 13 games! FanDuel’s Main slate is 13 games, and the first pitch is at 7:05p. DraftKings Main is also 13 games and locks at 7:05p. Yahoo! main is also 13 games and locks at 7:05p. Let’s dig into some of my favorite plays for July 29th, shall we?

NYY vs. KC 7:05p 2B Gleyber Torres(FD-$3,200)(DK-$5,000)(Y!-$21)

Back to the well again tonight with Torres. The Yankees beat KC last night 1-0 in a very uneventful game. So, I feel as if I owe you, the reader, a second chance with Gleyber tonight! The Yanks only had two hits last night and one of them was from Torres. LHP Kris Bubic takes the mound for the Royals tonight at Torres and carries a .411 wOBA and .367 ISO against lefties this season. Looking at the Rise or Fall Study hub his rating is beautiful at 62.30. However, his ownership of FD is a paltry 10.5%. While on DK it’s only 6.8%! The decision is yours but locks and load either way!

TOR vs. DET 7:07p C Alejandro Kirk(FD-$3,500)(DK-$4,700)(Y-$15)

Kirk has fast become one of the better hitting catchers in baseball. So tonight, against the lowly Tigers let’s take advantage. Granted the Blue Jays are as chalky as it gets but using Kirk as one of the catcher’s spots makes sense! Kirk has an awesome .393 wOBA against right-handed pitchers this year. Tonight, Detroit is trotting out RHP Bryan Garcia, a Triple-A kid who is making his first appearance in the big leagues. Goes without saying the Blue Jays as a team is going to be wildly owned but we can get around it all with just a one-off Kirk play! Per the ROF Study Hub on FD, only 2.5% were owned while on DK only 8%. It’s a perfect little sneak attack away from the chalk!

MIL at BOS 7:10p Rowdy Tellez(FD-$3,300)(DK-$4,600)(Y-$20)

Brayan Bello takes the hill for Boston tonight. The kid can pitch! He was on fire this year in AAA hence the call-up but his first start at the significant league level didn’t go so well. The Brewers have the bats to blow this kid up tonight. I have this unrelenting feeling Rowdy goes bonkers tonight. Looking at the ROF Study Hub they feel the same way! A+ value tier. A+ projection tier. His rating sits at 72.57 and his ownership percentages are beautiful. On FD only 6.1% and on DK only 6.4%. Rowdy has fast become my favorite overall play tonight. Use that information as you see fit!

MIL at BOS 7:10p Christian Yelich(FD-$3,400)(DK-$4,500)(Y!-$23)

Everything I just said about Rowdy goes for Yeli tonight. In addition, Yelich has found a good groove, having collected a hit in seven straight games while drawing six walks during that exact same time. Trust me when I say, Yeli will be on base tonight, a lot. A+ value tier. A+ projection tier as well. Run the Rowdy/Yeli combo and you will not be sorry!

TOR vs. DET 7:07p SS Bo Bichette(FD-$3,400)(DK-$5,200)(Y!-$16)

Will keep this one short and sweet. Need a longer blurb scroll up and read what I said about Kirk. The same things apply! RHP Bryan Garcia is a Triple-A kid who is making his first appearance in the big leagues. Bo gets on base at a great clip as his 55 runs and 53 RBI stat line shows so far this season. Tonight, the Blue Jays will be the chalkiest of chalk. His rating is at 63.04 tonight and I want every piece of him and Kirk!
