Today’s overall baseball schedule gives us 15 all-day games! FanDuel’s Main slate is 9 games, and the first pitch is at 7:05p. DraftKings Main is 9 games and locks at 7:05p. Yahoo! main is also 9 games and locks at 7:05p. Back to a big-time baseball schedule! As we search the slate and find some gems, I’ll do my best to give you my favorite plays for August 31st!

STL at CIN 6:40p 1B Paul Goldschmidt(FD-$4,700)(DK-$6,300)(Y!-$28)
Goldy has gone super Saiyan and I am not kidding. Tonight, the Reds send Mike Minor to the mound and Goldy has wailed on Minor. In 15 career plate appearances against Mike, he’s posting a .571 average with three bombs! Minor cannot get this man out. Paul also has a white-hot bat, slashing a .371 average and 1.173 OPS with 11 extra-base hits and 21 RBI in his last 18 games. Yes, super Saiyan!
SEA @ DET 7:10p OF Mitch Haniger(FD-$3,500)(DK-$5,100)(Y!-$17)
I love Mitch! So happy he is back and playing well. Haniger has hit three bombs over a four-game span and already five multi-hit games in his first 20 games back from the IL. Haniger has also hit left-handed pitchers well in his career. Just so happens he faces one tonight in Detroit! Tyler Alexander has pitched to a .290 BA, 347 wOBA, and 1.7 HR/9, against right-handed hitters this year. Furthermore, Mitch, in only 30 games this year and with limited at-bats against left-handed pitching, has recorded a .279 average, .857 OPS, and .361 wOBA.
CWS vs. KC 8:10p 1B/OF Andrew Vaughn(FD-$3,000)(DK-$3,700)(Y!-$19)
Andrew Vaughn is blooming right in front of our eyes! Over his last eight games, he has accounted for 7 hits, 2 doubles, 3 RBI, 4 runs, 1 HR, and walks. Vaughn looks to be batting 5th in the White Sox order tonight against a 2-9 Kris Bubic and his inflated 5.62 ERA. Stack the White Sox and center it with Andy Vaughn!
