Top MLB DFS Stacks (Quick Overview)
Happy Monday everyone! Hopefully you all had an amazing NFL Sunday. I don’t think anyone could have had one as amazing as Rise or Fall member “MadCow65” who shipped the Milly Maker on Draftkings, but, nonetheless I hope you found some success this weekend.
Today we’ve got a nice mid size MLB slate to break down before we dig into the NFL Monday Night Football double header
Braves vs Nationals RHP Cory Abbott
Cory Abbott enters this game with a 6.55 xfip and a 20.8% strikeout rate. Against left handers, he’s been really bad, allowing a 367 woba 268 iso and a 66% fly ball rate. Against right handers he’s a little better, but, not much, as he’s allowed a 219 iso and a 52% fly ball rate
The Braves have a few left handed hitters that really stick out to me here, but, don’t ignore their right handed bats either in this matchup
These two Braves lefties have been smashing right handed hitters all season. Against a right handed pitcher that really struggles vs left handed hitter they will be my priority targets today
Matt Olson – 242 iso 45% hard contact rate
Michael Harris – 405 woba 290 iso 49% hard contact rate
Other Braves, that hit right handed, that I’ll be targeting
Ronald Acuna Jr. – 510 xwoba 150 iso 45% hard contact
Dansby Swanson – 458 xwoba 150 iso 46% hard contact
Austin Riley – 490 xwoba 231 iso 47% hard contact
Willson Contreras – 447 xwoba 254 iso 44% hard contact
I’ll prioritize left handed hitters, here, but, judging by these numbers we can safely target Braves right handers as well in this matchup
Orioles vs Tigers LHP Tyler Alexander
Tigers left hander Tyler Alexander has had a rough 2022 season. Entering this game he has a 5.68 xfip and only a 12.3% strikeout rate. Against right handed hitters he has really struggled, allowing a 350 woba 210 iso 42% fly ball rate and just an 11.1% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters, he’s been slightly better, allowing a 193 iso and 42% hard contact rate
The Orioles have a handful of hitters we can target here tonight, and all of them crush left handed pitching
Austin Hayes – 496 xwoba 152 iso 44% hard contact
Anthony Santander – 486 xwoba 239 iso 48% hard contact
Ramon Urias – 594 xwoba 176 iso 51% hard contact
Jorge Mateo – 529 xwoba 182 iso

Giants vs Rockies RHP Chad Kuhl
It truly makes me sick to write up a stack in Coors Field, but, this matchup is just too damn good to ignore. Chad Kuhl enters this game with a 5.57 xfip and just a 17.7% strikeout rate this season. He’s been terrible vs both left handed and right handed hitters this season. Against lefties, he has allowed a 347 woba 227 iso 40% fly ball rate and 47% hard contact rate. Against righties, it’s not much better for him, as he’s allowed a 361 woba 213 iso 39% fly ball rate and 42% hard contact rate
Joc Pederson – 413 xwoba 259 iso 49% hard contact
LaMonte Wade – 400 xwoba 206 iso
Mike Yastrzemski – 156 iso 37% hard contact
Wilmer Flores – 184 iso 41% hard contact
J.D. Davis – 659 xwoba
It pains me to say it, because I literally HATE Coors Field slates, but all of the Giants are in play here tonight. The five above are my favorite targets

These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’ll be using the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions
Something I like to do with this, is to give these players a THUMBS UP or 2, or 3, in Fantasy Cruncher so I can get more exposure to them throughout my lineups
