Top MLB DFS Stacks (Quick Overview)
Welcome back everyone, today we have a nice 9 game MLB Slate to attack. Our top ranked stack on the slate so far is the LA Dodgers vs D’Backs lefty Madison Bumgarner. While that is surely a juicy matchup, let’s take a look and see what other spots we can attack tonight.
Rangers vs Angels LHP Tucker Davidson
Tucker Davidson enters tonight’s game with a 6.81 xfip and just a 13.4% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 382 woba 273 iso and 37% fly ball rate and has only managed a 9.1% strikeout rate. Against right handers he has allowed a 370 woba 164 iso and 34% hard contact rate with a 14.6% strikeout rate
We can target Rangers hitters from both sides of the plate here, and below are my favorites today
Nate Lowe – 401 xwoba 212 iso
Adolis Garcia – 387 xwoba 194 iso 47% hard contact
Mark Mathias – 553 xwoba 304 iso 52% hard contact
Josh Jung – 489 xwoba 381 iso 58% hard contact
Corey Seager has a 403 xwoba 244 iso and 37% hard contact rate vs left handed pitching this season and he’s probably the best hitter in this lineup.
Marcus Semien is another veteran who has hit lefties well this year, he has a 408 xwoba 170 iso vs lefties this year
Mariners vs Athletics RHP James Kaprielian
James Kaprielian has a 6.20 xfip and just a 15.8% strikeout rate this season. Against right handed hitters he has allowed a 351 woba 223 iso 50% fly ball rate and 39% hard contact rate. Against lefties he has been a little better, only allowing a 167 iso and 37% hard contact rate but I believe we can target him with hitters from both sides of the plate tonight

Ty France – 366 xwoba 188 iso
Mitch Haniger – 457 xwoba 188 iso
Carlos Santana – 440 xwoba 200 iso
Julio Rodriguez has had a breakout season and it all started after the show he put on in the Home Run Derby during All Star Weekend. This season Julio Rodriguez has 427 xwoba 233 iso and 43% hard contact vs right handed pitching

Dodgers vs D’Backs LHP Madison Bumgarner
Madison Bumgarner isn’t even close to what he used to be at this point in his career. He enters tonight’s game with a 5.57 xfip and a 15.8% strikeout rate. Against right handed hitters he’s been really bad this season, allowing a 363 woba 228 iso 39% fly ball rate and a 47% hard contact rate with just a 15.9% strikeout rate
We can pretty much target all of the right handed bats in this lineup tonight, but I’ll highlight my favorites below
Mookie Betts – 424 xwoba 321 iso 49% hard contact
Trea Turner – 626 xwoba 270 iso 51% hard contact
Will Smith – 456 xwoba 162 iso 36% hard contact
Despite not being right handed, we can target Freddie Freeman here as well. Against left handed pitching this season he has a 456 xwoba 154 iso and 45% hard contact rate. The fact that the matchup is left vs left will likely lead to him being lower owned than some of the other chalk Dodgers
Rankings Today
These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’ll be using the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions
Something I like to do with this, is to give these players a THUMBS UP or 2, or 3, in Fantasy Cruncher so I can get more exposure to them throughout my lineups
