Top MLB DFS Stacks (Quick Overview)

Welcome back everyone, today we have a nice 10 game Tuesday slate of MLB action to attack. We’ll likely have a ton of options to target on this slate tonight, so, lets not waste too much time on a macro view and dig into the stacks below.

Yankees vs Red Sox RHP Nick Pivetta

Nick Pivetta enters today’s matchup with a 5.03 xfip and a 22.4% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 328 woba 175 iso 41% fly ball rate and 35% hard contact rate. Against right handed hitters he has allowed a 147 iso 40% fly ball rate and 40% hard contact rate.

Aaron Judge is likely the front runner for American Legue MVP. Over the last 30 days (all season really) he has crushed right handed pitching with a 625 xwoba 384 iso and 46% hard contact rate. I’m expecting him to go yard here tonight vs Pivetta

Giancarlo Stanton – 214 iso vs RHP last 30 days
Gleybar Torres – 242 iso vs RHP last 30 days

The Yankees have been frustrating all year, and have failed us in good spots more than a few times. Tonight however, I feel like they put up some crooked numbers early vs Nick Pivetta

Orioles vs Nationals RHP Cory Abbott

Nationals right hander Cory Abbott enters today’s game with a 6.43 xfip and a 21.3% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 358 woba 286 iso and a 70% fly ball rate. Against right handed hitters he has allowed a 241 iso and 52% fly ball rate.

Adley Rutschman is my top target in the Orioles lineup tonight. This season against right handed pitching he has a 387 xwoba 228 iso and 39% hard contact rate. He only has a 16% strikeout rate and a very high 13% walk rate so he’s gonna get on base a few times in this matchup today.

Other Orioles I’ll be targeting vs Abbott

Cedric Mullins – 346 woba 169 iso vs RHP
Anthony Santander – 192 iso vs RHP
Ryan Mountcastle – 182 iso vs RHP

Are you ready to dominate?

White Sox vs Rockies RHP Chad Kuhl

Chad Kuhl has been awful this year and we can target him with hitters from both sides of the plate tonight. Kuhl enters tonight’s matchup with a 5.62 xfip and a 17.7% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 354 woba 234 iso 41% fly ball rate and 48% hard contact rate. He’s been equally bad vs right handed hitters allowing a 357 woba 210 iso 40% fly ball rate and 41% hard contact rate

My favorite White Sox hitter to target in this matchup vs Kuhl is Eloy Jimenez. This season Jimenez has a 583 xwoba 193 iso and 49% hard contact rate against right handed pitching.

Other White Sox I’ll be targeting

Gavin Sheets – 182 iso vs RHP
Andrew Vaughn – 188 iso vs RHP
Jose Abreu – 348 woba 161 iso vs RHP dating back to the start of the 2021 season

Rankings Today

These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’ll be using the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions

Something I like to do with this, is to give these players a THUMBS UP or 2, or 3, in Fantasy Cruncher so I can get more exposure to them throughout my lineups
