Top NFL DFS Picks for Bears vs Commanders Thursday Night Football Showdown
Welcome to the Top NFL DFS Picks for Bears vs Commanders Thursday Night Football Showdown! The Bears enter the game as 1 point home favorites and the game has a total of just 38.
For each primetime game this season, I will be providing you with my favorite plays at the Captain, MVP, Superstar positions as well as the flex position for DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo.
David Montgomery, RB $15,600 (DK), $15,000 (FD), $18 (Yahoo))
Montgomery returned last week and went right back into his RB1 role nearly. He played 72%, had over 50% of the rush attempts, and all of the target share out of the backfield.
While the Commanders have been better against the run compared to the pass they have still burn torched by Lions for over 200 yards and Derrick Henry just last week. Montgomery is my favorite play at the multiplier spots across all sites.
Congratulations to long-time Team Rise or Fall member “MadCow65” for winning the Draftkings Week 2 Milly Maker!

Curtis Samuel, WR $12,300 (DK), $12,000 (FD), $16 (Yahoo))
In each of the five games so far this year, Curtis has seen at least 7 targets. This is more of a DK play as his volume alone could be enough to land as the optimal CPT play in a lower-scoring game.
Darnell Mooney, WR $7,600 (DK), $9,500 (FD), $16 (Yahoo))
This game is not a pretty one on paper as we have two offenses that leave a lot to be desired and two defenses that are at best average. One of the biggest weaknesses between the two teams is the Commanders secondary. Through five games they are allowing the 4th most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers and just rank last as a defense in general against the pass.
Mooney is way too cheap for his upside. While I know his target share is not that of a typical WR1, the Bears have been finding ways to get him the ball deep over the last couple of weeks. If Fields can connect with him on a couple of deep balls he could end up as the highest scoring player on the slate. It is a boom or bust play which is why I prefer him in the flex compared to the multiplier spots.
That will do it for me, if you want to receive my entire player pool along with notes for this game and for each main slate be sure to join us at Team Rise or Fall!
