Top NFL DFS Picks for Bears vs Patriots Monday Night Football Showdown

Welcome to the Top NFL DFS Picks for Bears vs Patriots Monday Night Football Showdown! We wrap up week 7 with a not so great matchup as the Pats welcome in the Bears to Foxboro. The Patriots are 8 point home favorites and the game has a total of just 40.

For each primetime game this season, I will be providing you with my favorite plays at the Captain, MVP, Superstar positions as well as the flex position for DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo. I hope you enjoy this short four minute breakdown of my top plays.

Captain/MVP/SuperStar Plays

Justin Fields, QB $15,600 (DK), $15,000 (FD), $20 (Yahoo))

Look there is not a lot to like about this game, so the goal with building lineups is going to lock in scoring floors and looking at the last game the Bears played 10 days ago on Thursday Night Football against the Commanders that is exactly what we did, lock in players with a decent scoring floor.

Well Justin Fields fits that mold thanks in part to his rushing upside. More than likely Fields will throw for somewhere around 175 yards and maybe a passing TD. However, his upside is going to come from what he can do with his feet. 88 yards on the ground in the last game. I expect a similar performance from him for this game.

Congratulations to long-time Team Rise or Fall member “MadCow65” for winning the Draftkings Week 2 Milly Maker!

Damien Harris, RB $12,600 (DK), $12,500 (FD), $19 (Yahoo))

Damien Harris returns this week and should slide right back into his timeshare with Stevenson in the Pats backfield. The Bears are allowing 163 yards on the ground per game and with Stevenson priced up like he is the only healthy back, I have no problem taking the salary savings here with Harris.

Taking away the Lions game in which he got hurt in, he has scored a touchdown in 3 of the 4 games he was healthy for.

Flex Plays

Patriot Defense, $5,600 (DK), $10,000 (FD), $19 (Yahoo))

I mentioned the Pats defense but both defenses are very much in play. Starting with the Patriots, are allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing RBs. While they have been susceptible to giving up fantasy points to opposing points to opposing TEs, they are not facing Mark Andrews or Travis Kelce. It will be Cole Kmet and Ryan Griffin.

For the Bears, their one weakness has been against the run. Besides that they rank in the top 5 for fewest fantasy points allowed per game to opposing WRs, and TEs.

I am expecting another low scoring game between two QBs who can turn the ball over. In his starts Mac Jones has thrown at least one pick and been sacked at least twice in all but one start. Fields has thrown 5 picks on the year and taken at least two sacks in every game.

That will do it for me, if you want to receive my entire player pool along with notes for this game and for each main slate be sure to join us at Team Rise or Fall! Use promo code “Scrosby” to receive $10 off your first month. Click to view all of our membership options  https://teamriseorfall.com/subscribe-today/
