Welcome to the Top NFL DFS Picks for Jets vs Jaguars Thursday Night Football Showdown! We kick off week 16 with an AFC battle between the Jets and Jags with major playoff implications. Yes, just said a week 16 matchup between the Jets/Jags has major playoff implications. The Jets are 1.5 home favorites and the game has a low total of 37.5. 

 For each primetime game this season, I will be providing you with my favorite plays at the Captain, MVP, and Superstar positions as well as the flex position for DraftKings, FanDuel, and Yahoo.

Travis Etienne, RB $14,400 (DK), $14,000 (FD), $23 (Yahoo))

 
With heavy rain expected I expect both teams lean heavily on the run and while the Jet side has the better matchup, Etienne is the much better back and will have the higher volume. 
 
In a harder matchup last week against the Cowboys he carried the ball 19 times for over 100 yards and added a couple catches. I am expecting a similar stat line from him and if he can find the end zone he could be the optimal play especially if this game plays to under on the low total.

Garrett Wilson, WR $13,500 (DK), $13,500 (FD), $20 (Yahoo))

Zach Wilson returned last week and I was happy to see he learned that Garrett Wilson is a good receiver to target a lot. The Jags are allowing the 8th most fantasy points to opposing WRs and if this game does play to the over then I would expect to see Wilson having himself a day.

Defenses

Heavy rain is expected throughout the game from this storm affecting the entire east coast we could see a very sloppy game, especially with a QB battle between Zach Wilson and Trevor Lawrence. 

Both defenses a very cheap on DK and if you are building a game script with the total staying under 37.5 then I will have at least one defense in each lineup. In lineups where I build for this game to have some points scored, then I will set a rule for at most 1 defense in my lineups.
