In game that features Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Davante Adams I think we may need to find viable cheaper CPTs that will allow us to fit two of those guys in our lineups without needing to punt a spot or two.
The Chiefs are allowing the 6th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Despite the poor production so far Waller has still seen at least 5 targets in each the first four games this year. In 5 of the last 6 games against the Chiefs he has had at least 7 targets and with the expectation that the Raiders will be playing from behind Waller should be in line for a big game as Raiders try to keep pace with the Chiefs.
Josh Jacobs, RB $8.800 (DK), $12,000 (FD), $19 (Yahoo))
Despite allowing the fewest running yards per game to opposing running backs, the Chiefs have allowed the most receiving yards to opposing running backs. Over the last two weeks Josh Jacobs has been targeted out of the back field 11 total times and has caught 10 of those passes.
He is coming off a huge game against the Broncos and will look to duplicate that performance. While I don’t expect another 144 yards on the ground, I do expect him to be very active in the passing game tonight. Jacobs make for a great contrarian play tonight as most will look to just jam in the Raiders passing game with Carr.
Kickers
Instead of naming one, I am just going to talk about both. There is not much value for this slate once you go below the kickers and with the way showdowns have gone so far it may be best to just lock in the points and move on especially if you play Single Entry contests.
Daniel Carlson has scored at least 9 points in each of the Raiders four games so far and Matthew Wright has scored 12 points in his first game as the Chiefs kicker with Butker out. No other play in that price range which include Mecole Hardman, Pacheco, and Valdez-Scantling off that kind of scoring floor.
That will do it for me, if you want to receive my entire player pool along with notes for this game and for each main slate be sure to join us at Team Rise or Fall! Use promo code “Scrosby” to receive $10 off your first month.
