Welcome to the Top NFL DFS Picks for Ravens vs Buccaneers Thursday Night Football Showdown! We kickoff week 8 with matchup of two teams who have underperformed to start the year as the Bucs welcome the Ravens to Tampa Bay. The Bucs are a 1 point home favorite and the total for the game is 45.5.Â

Captain/MVP/SuperStar Plays
Lamar Jackson, QB $17,700 (DK), $17.500 (FD), $33 (Yahoo))
Really nothing shocking here with talking about Lamar as a top play at the multiplier spots. He has the highest scoring floor and ceiling of anyone the slate and with the way both teams have been playing lately this feels like another game where we just need to lock in the scoring floor and move on.
The Bucs are coming off a game in which they allowed a Pj Walker led offense to score 21 points and account for nearly 350 yards of offense on them. While that does not sound like a lot on paper it is was not a good sign given the Panthers have essentially called it a quits on the 2022 season. With Gus Edwards, Bateman, Andrews all questionable for this game, Lamar may need to rely on his running abilities a lot more than usual. The Bucs have allowed the 8th most rushing yards per game to opposing QBs since week 5.

Chris Godwin, WR $13,500 (DK), $12,500 (FD), $18 (Yahoo))
In every game Godwin has been healthy for he has had at least 6 catches in and double digit targets in all but one. On paper this is a great matchup as the Ravens are allowing the 6th most fantasy points per game to opposing WRs. He has yet to catch a TD and I do feel this is the game he finds the end zone but without it he is a better play on DK compared to FD.
Flex Plays
Devin Duvernay, WR $6,400 (DK), $10,000 (FD), $13 (Yahoo))
As of this writing, Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman are questionable. According to reports from Ravens beat writers, Andrews is not looking good to play. That would be a huge blow to the Ravens’ offense but it would open up a lot of potential opportunities for Duvernay.
