A big part of the discussion this week has been whether or not putting matters in the St Jude Championship. I believe that putting should always be part of your thought process when you’re weighing your PGA DFS picks. This week, it doesn’t matter as much as some of the other stats, however.

St Jude Championship 

Draft Kings has made it difficult for us to play more than one “top” player. The salaries are very high for golf’s royalty, but we do need to make room for at least one of them in our lineups this week. 

The stats I’ve weighted most heavily this week are all off the tee. Distance will come into play, since some of the holes have been lengthened as part of a 2020 renovation. The most important stat will be accuracy. I’m also looking at GIR (greens in regulation).
