MLB DFS has a 10 game slate on SuperDraft! These are the early Top SuperDraft MLB DFS Picks. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cores for Cash, and GPP from our MLB coaches afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Kenta Maeda faces the Detroit Tigers with an implied run total of 3.52 and he is at a 2x multiplier. This is a multiplier that I will be taking advantage of while it is available. Maeda has posted a K% of 28%, a xFIP of 3.67, and a CSW% of 31.5% since 2019.
I’m slotting Maeda in my Cash lineup and he will be in my pitcher pool for GPPs. He should dominate the Tigers’ lineup today.
Blake Snell faces the San Francisco Giants with an implied run total of 3.32. In his Padres debut, Snell posted 8 strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings. I expect Snell to have a longer leash in this one he is in my GPP core at 1.55x.
Snell has posted a 32.6% K% since 2019 and is facing a Giants lineup that has struck out 27.7% of their at bats in 2021 per FanGraphs.
The White Sox are facing Justin Dunn with an implied run total of 4.64. Dunn has struggled with command thus far in his career posting a BB% of 17.5% and a K% of 18.9% in his limited sample. Chicago should feast against Dunn today and I am expecting multiple crooked innings.
I’ll be focusing on Andrew Vaughn, Jose Abreu, Luis Robert, and Yasmani Grandal.
The Twins are facing Matt Boyd with an implied run total of 4.48. Boyd is either really hot or he is terrible. If he struggles, Minnesota will take him deep multiple times and they have lefty killers in their lineup. I’ll be focusing on the high ISO hitters in the Twins lineup.
I’m focusing on Nelson Cruz, Mitch Garver, Miguel Sano, and Byron Buxton.
Byron Buxton is my top hitter of the day and will be a one-off in a lot of my lineups that I do not stack Twins. Buxton has unlocked his power stroke in 2021 posting 3 homers in the limited 2021 sample and we know he has stolen bases in the bag. Buxton will be a volatile play but, he has the highest upside on the slate.

The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
