MLB DFS has a 5 game slate on SuperDraft! These are the early Top SuperDraft MLB DFS Picks. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cores for Cash, and GPP from our MLB coaches afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Corbin Burnes has a matchup against St. Louis with an implied run total of 3.52. Since 2019, Burnes has posted a K% of 33.6% and a CSW% of 30.2% per Fangraphs. Cardinals hitters are going t swing and miss today and I expect Burnes to have a quality start today.
At a 1.85x multiplier, Burnes becomes a Cash lock for me and will be in my GPP core. Burnes has the highest upside of any pitcher on the slate.
Jose Berrios has a matchup against Seattle with an implied run total of 3.25. Berrios was electric in his last outing against Milwaukee allowing 0 hits and striking out 12 over 6 innings. We should not expect a repeat performance but, Seattle strikes out over 25% of their at-bats per Fangraphs and Berrios should rack up the strikeouts in this spot.
A 1.5x multiplier gives Berrios a high ceiling regardless if he gives up a couple of runs. Berrios will be in my GPP pitching pool and I have no problem slotting him into Cash games.
The Rockies have a matchup against Merrill Kelly with an implied run total of 5.89 at Coors Field. It’s going to be hard to avoid Rockies hitters who have proven that they can hit for power at home and are facing mediocre pitching. If Colorado can put up a crooked inning against Trevor Bauer, they should have no problem with Merrill Kelly.
I’ll be focusing on Trevor Story, Charlie Blackmon, Josh Fuentes, and Ryan McMahon.
The Red Sox are coming off a sweep of Tampa Bay and get a matchup against Matt Harvey with an implied run total of 4.91. Harvey is not the pitcher he used to be as he has posted a 14.8% K% and an xFIP of 5.49 since 2019 per Fangraphs. I will be attacking Harvey at volume on today’s slate.
I’m focusing on Alex Verdugo, Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers, and J.D. Martinez
Yasmani Grandal gets a matchup against Brad Keller with an implied run total of 4.86. Keller has struggled with his command posting a BB% of 9.4% since 2019 per Fangraphs. This should give Grandal opportunities with runners on base and we know he is a threat to get extra-base hits at a high clip. Grandal is my top one off of the day and could go overlooked with the potential weather issues in Chicago.

The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
