Week 5 Draft Kings DFS Top Picks
Who’s projected to make the most fantasy points this week?
Josh Allen
Josh Allen is projected to bring in 22.24 fantasy points vs the Pittsburgh defense. That also comes with a price tag. He’s the priciest among QBs this week, but it’s really likely worth the cost. He’s likely to score well above his projection since he’s currently averaging 30.3 fantasy points per week. Not only that… he carries the ball too and is good for around 7 carries per game. It’s for these reasons and more that I’m adding Josh Allen to my Week 5 Draft Kings DFS Top Picks.
Got deep pockets?
Cooper Kupp (but do you need to?)
You’ll be digging way down deep for this one… Kupp is priced at $9.6K this week and is projected to bring 20.05 fantasy points. Is he worth the steep price tag? I’m not so sure. With a fairly high rostership percentage, you’re already working harder than necessary. If it’s points you’re after… that money would be better spent on a QB, like Jalen Hurts at $8.1K with a slightly better points projection. If you’re set on a receiver, go with Davante Adams at $8.5K with 17.49 fantasy points projected. Both Kupp and Adams are DK Tier A players with a Tier B value grade.
Looking for consistency?
Christian McCaffrey
If it’s the consistency you’re looking for in your Week 5 Draft Kings DFS Top Picks, then CMC is your man. Priced at $8.5 and projected to produce more than 15 fantasy points, McCaffrey is a solid choice for your lineups. Week after week, CMC has been producing points averaging 19.5 fantasy points per game. His rostership is also fairly low, as it seems that much of the crowd worries about him being injury prone. We’re not going to worry about that for this one DFS lineup.
