Week 5 FanDuel DFS Top Picks

Week 5 FanDuel DFS Top Picks

It’s Week 5 of NFL Football and you’re reading my Week 5 FanDuel DFS Top Picks article for Team Rise or Fall. What makes a top pick? Typically, I cover the priciest player, the player projected to score the most fantasy points, and the most consistent player. Then, I share why they’re worthwhile or if there’s a comparable replacement.

My goal isn’t to build your lineup for you, it’s to guide you by using my experience as a sports bettor and the membership tools available at Team Rise or Fall. With that being said… let’s look at Sunday’s main slate favorites. (after a word from our sponsor)

We recently added Individual Sport memberships to our offerings here at Rise or Fall. If you would like to subscribe for an NFL Monthly or NFL Weekly without access to any of the other sports you now have that option.

All memberships come with Discord Access, however, only the *Monthly All Access* for $39.95 comes with the $20 monthly credit to Fantasy Cruncher. There’s also a *Weekly All Access* for $13.95. Don’t need to have all the access? We even have single sport access plans.

Week 5 FanDuel DFS Top Picks

Who’s projected to make the most fantasy points this week?

Josh Allen

Josh Allen is projected to bring in upwards of 25 fantasy points with a price tag of $9.0K. He does, however, have a high roster ship percentage. Allen is listed as a FanDuel Tier A value, because of his points projection, but you could get away with a less pricey QB. Who? Both Lamar Jackson ($8.7) and Jalen Hurts ($8.6) are projected to bring in more than 23 fantasy points. However, Lamar currently has the lowest roster ship percentage (2.8%), which makes him way more appealing to me in this situation.

Got deep pockets?

Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp is listed at a steep $9.5K, but is projected to bring in an equally high points total at nearly 20 fantasy points. Again, he’s listed as a FanDuel Tier A Value because of the points he’s projected to bring in, however, you’ll be dealing with a high rostership percentage. If you don’t mind that sort of thing, then why not consider Leonard Fournette? He’s projected to bring in more than 17 points at a price tag of just $7.8K. Want a lower rostership percentage? Take a look at CMC ($8.7K, 15.9 fantasy points projected, 8% rostership… manageable).

Looking for consistency?

Austin Ekeler

If it’s consistency you’re looking for in your Week 5 FanDuel DFS Top Picks, then Austin Ekeler is your man. He is on the pricier side at $9K but is projected to bring in nearly 16 fantasy points. Ekeler has actually been averaging 19 FPPG, never falling below 9 in these first 4 weeks of play. His rostership is still manageable at (at 6% at the time of publication). If you’re looking for a less expensive option, I’d look to Aaron Jones ($7.6K, 14.25 projected, 3% rostership, avg 14 FPPG).
