Top 3 DFS Stacks

1. St. Louis Cardinals vs. Roddery Munoz (Miami Marlins)

Key Stats:

  • Roddery Munoz (R):
    • vs. LHB: .500 ISO, .427 xwOBA, 27.7% K rate, 12.8% BB rate
    • vs. RHB: .118 ISO, .351 xwOBA, 24.6% K rate, 10.5% BB rate

Cardinals Hitters to Target:

Insights:

  • Munoz has shown a tendency to struggle against left-handed hitters, giving up a high ISO and xwOBA. Stacking the Cardinals, especially their power hitters, could exploit this weakness. Goldschmidt and Arenado provide solid power from the right side, while Gorman can capitalize from the left side.

2. Cincinnati Reds vs. Bailey Falter (Pittsburgh Pirates)

Key Stats:

  • Bailey Falter (L):
    • vs. LHB: .242 ISO, .347 xwOBA, 19.7% K rate, 3.6% BB rate
    • vs. RHB: .179 ISO, .343 xwOBA, 16.4% K rate, 6.8% BB rate

Reds Hitters to Target:

Insights:

  • Falter has struggled against both left and right-handed hitters, with higher ISO and xwOBA against lefties. The Reds’ lineup, with powerful right-handed bats like Steer and Stephenson, should be able to take advantage of Falter’s weaknesses.

3. Philadelphia Phillies vs. Michael King (San Diego Padres)

Key Stats:

  • Michael King (R):
    • vs. LHB: .122 ISO, .310 xwOBA, 24.4% K rate, 10.2% BB rate
    • vs. RHB: .153 ISO, .286 xwOBA, 31.7% K rate, 7.0% BB rate

Phillies Hitters to Target:

Insights:

  • King’s numbers show he is more effective against right-handed hitters but struggles more with left-handed hitters, particularly in terms of ISO and xwOBA. The Phillies’ lineup features powerful lefties like Schwarber and Harper, making them an excellent stack option today.

Under-the-Radar Stacks

1. Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Jake Irvin (Washington Nationals)

Key Stats:

  • Jake Irvin (R):
    • vs. LHB: .193 ISO, .352 xwOBA, 18.1% K rate, 9.3% BB rate
    • vs. RHB: .130 ISO, .307 xwOBA, 21.5% K rate, 6.7% BB rate

Diamondbacks Hitters to Target:

Insights:

  • Irvin has struggled more against left-handed hitters, giving up a higher ISO and xwOBA. Carroll and Marte are excellent choices to exploit these weaknesses, while Walker adds right-handed power.

2. Cleveland Guardians vs. Bryce Miller (Seattle Mariners)

Key Stats:

  • Bryce Miller (R):
    • vs. LHB: .235 ISO, .382 xwOBA, 19.9% K rate, 7.2% BB rate
    • vs. RHB: .107 ISO, .279 xwOBA, 26.4% K rate, 4.4% BB rate

Guardians Hitters to Target:

Insights:

  • Miller has shown some vulnerability to left-handed hitters, with a higher ISO and xwOBA compared to right-handers. The Guardians’ lineup features several potent lefties, making them a sneaky stack with upside.
