He faces off against left-handed pitcher MacKenzie Gore of the Washington Nationals, who has struggled in his limited MLB action. Left-handed starters have an ERA of 3.78 against the Arizona Diamondbacks since last season, and other matchup data also favors the Diamondbacks. Walker is a strong option at first base.

Vinnie Pasquantino (KC) – $3,600 DK, 1B

Esteury Ruiz (OAK) – $3,000 DK, OF
Ruiz has been hitting well lately with an OPS of 1.118 in his last 17 at-bats over the past five days. He has a good matchup against Brady Singer, who has a similar repertoire to Reid Detmers, against whom left-handed hitters like Ruiz have been successful. Additionally, pitchers with similar repertoires to Singer have an ERA of 5.16 against the Oakland Athletics over the last year. At a low price point, Ruiz offers great potential value for Saturday’s slate.

Justin Turner (BOS) – $3,700 DK, 1B
Turner has a favorable matchup against Bailey Falter, who has struggled against right-handed batters who hit the ball in the air often. In fact, right-handed batters with a similar profile to Turner have posted an OPS of 1.024 against Falter over the last two seasons. Meanwhile, left-handed starters have an ERA of 5.03 against the Boston Red Sox since last season, suggesting Turner could have a strong outing. At a reasonable price, Turner is a solid option at first base.

Taylor Ward (LAA) – $3,800 DK, OF
Ward has a strong track record against right-handed pitchers with a similar repertoire to Nathan Eovaldi, with a wOBA of .372 in his last 145 plate appearances against such pitchers.
