Welcome to the NFL DFS Week 2 Study Hub Breakdown! We’re going to highlight two players per position that stand out in both projections and ratings to get a feel for what plays stand out in the Study Hub. Let’s get into it!

Tom Brady – Brady ranks first in the ratings and seventh in projections on both sites. The Buccaneers head to New Orleans with an implied total of 23.75. Brady is projected for 38.52 pass attempts, 275.47 passing yards, and 1.75 passing touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Brady has a 12.5% Rise% on DraftKings and an 18% Rise% on FanDuel. Mike Evans and Julio Jones look to be the top stacking options with Brady this week!

Lamar Jackson – Jackson ranks third in ratings and first in projections on both sites. The Ravens take on Miami at home with an implied team total of 24. Jackson is projected for 32.15 pass attempts, 225.59 passing yards, 9.83 rushing attempts, 51.42 rushing yards, and 1.94 total touchdowns. 

In the Range or Outcomes tab, Jackson has a Rise% of 12.1% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 16.2% on FanDuel. Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews look to be the top options to stack with Jackson this week. Tyreek Hill is an interesting opponent to run in game stacks!

RUNNING BACKS

Jonathan Taylor – Taylor ranks first in ratings and second in projections on both sites among running backs. The Colts have an implied team total of 25.5 and are favored to win which should lead to a positive game script for Taylor. He is projected for 21.7 rushing attempts, 104.62 rushing yards, 2.68 receptions, 20.25 receiving yards, and 0.98 total touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Taylor comes in with a Rise% of 25.3% on DraftKings and a 24.8% Rise% on FanDuel. Despite the hefty price tag, Taylor grades out as a top tournament play and has a 40+ point ceiling. 

Joe Mixon – Mixon ranks fourth in ratings on both sites while ranking fifth in DraftKings projections and fourth in FanDuel projections. The Bengals come in with an implied total of 25 against the Cowboys. Mixon is projected for 19.21 rushing attempts, 77.46 rushing yards, 2.46 receptions, 17.99 receiving yards, and 0.61 total touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Mixon has a Rise% of 22.7% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 26% on FanDuel. Mixon is coming off a week where he saw 36 total opportunities and should continue to see the bulk of the running back work.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Cooper Kupp – Kupp ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites. The Rams get a great spot to bounce back against Atlanta with an implied team total of 29. Kupp is projected for 15 targets, 101.41 receiving yards, and 0.76 receiving touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Kupp comes in with a Rise% of 20.9% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 25.2% on FanDuel. Kupp has the highest ceiling on the slate among wide receivers and is a great spend-up option this week. 

Tyreek Hill – Hill ranks third in the ratings and fourth in projections on both sites. Hill faces Baltimore with an implied team total of 20.25. Hill is projected for 12 targets, 78.92 receiving yards, and 0.46 receiving touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Hill comes in with a Rise% of 18.4% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 27.1% on FanDuel. Hill has a massive ceiling on a weekly basis and will likely be a huge part of the Miami offense if this game shoots out.

TIGHT ENDS

Mark Andrews – Andrews ranks first in ratings and projections on both sites. Andrews continues to grade out as a top tight end and Baltimore has a solid total of 24 as mentioned in the Lamar Jackson section! Andrews is projected for 7 targets, 62.97 receiving yards, and 0.52 receiving touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Andrews comes in with a Rise% of 21.4% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 28.1% on FanDuel. The stack of Mark Andrews and Lamar Jackson looks like a top-ceiling play for tournaments this week. 

Darren Waller – Wallerranks third in the ratings and second in projections on both sites. Waller has a cheap price tag of $5,600 on DraftKings and $6,800 on FanDuel and will be in a high-scoring game environment with an implied game total of 51.5. Waller is projected for 6 targets, 57.08 receiving yards, and 0.43 receiving touchdowns. 

In the Range of Outcomes tab, Kelce comes in with a Rise% of 24% on DraftKings and a Rise% of 29.9% on FanDuel. Waller has the second-highest ceiling on the slate at tight end with a mid-range price tag.
